The location is excellent, although the hotel is a 20-minute metro ride from Plaça Catalunya. The hotel is a 4-5 minute walk from the metro entrance. There is a supermarket next to the hotel and on Sundays when it is closed, there are shops and cafes in the residential neighborhood by the lake across the road, a two-minute walk from the hotel. We had a problem with the safe in the room twice. In the end, they had to drill into the safe to open it, but they didn't clean the drilling chips, and it was dangerous to walk around barefoot in the shower with the chips on the floor from the drilling. Luckily, this happened on our last night at the hotel. The air conditioning was excellent, the bed was large and comfortable, the housekeeping was excellent, they cleaned and tidied the room every day. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

For a 4 star hotel there was hair in the sinks and on the bed sheets and behind pillows. I jave stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels and there is always complimentary water this one had nothing. Bed was also not the comfiest

I had a wonderful time here. The staff were genuinely kind and helpful. My room was spacious and offered an excellent view of the city. Room service was good, and there is also a restaurant in the hotel itself, plus plenty of dining options nearby or a short drive away. The hotel is very well located for anyone who likes using public transit — there’s a metro station right across the street near the university, and several bus stops close by. Taxis are always available just outside as well. The only possible downside is that the hotel is a bit farther from Barcelona’s main attractions, but I didn’t mind — the convenience of transportation more than makes up for it. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options for everyone, including gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian choices. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended!
