The hotel was a great location to wang theatre. The beds were comfy. The door to enter the room was fidgety and would only open sometimes when turning handle all the way up. The walk from the bed to the bathroom was very creaky something seemed up with the floor. And the traffic outside (honking music revving engines) was extremely loud and woke us up until 4 am. Not sure if the concession downstairs have earplugs but definitely would recommend them! Other than that it was great, live music, dinner all good.

Overall, highly recommended. Great balance of quality, location, and price. Gave 3 stars, however, for both cleanliness and eco-friendliness. There were (food?) stains on one of the curtains and the space between one of the beds and the wall was filthy (and had clearly not been regularly cleaned); and there was no recycling bin in the room.

My new favorite hotel in Boston

I originally booked Omni Parker House and changed at the last minute due to some negative reviews about mold, mice, no fridge in the room and noise due to construction work. I booked Double Tree and couldn’t believe how perfect everything was from the moment I checked in to the last day of my stay. The staff is amazing, polite and very helpful, rooms are clean and updated, beds are comfortable and everything I needed was in the room. Very happy experience and I will not even bother to check other hotels when I come back to Boston. This is a 4 star hotel.
