Second time staying at the Moxy. It’s a convenient hotel and is clean and ‘does the job’. But on Friday night…be prepared to stay up until 3am thanks to the nightclub across the street—Bijou I think it is? If it wasn’t the street racing etc outside, the music was insanely loud. And we were on the 12th floor.

Clean, modern, safe. In addition to the excellent food at Moxy Bar, it’s located right by Chinatown and many other different dining options. Rooms might be a Little small for some but for me, my wife and 4-year old, I found it to be decent for a few nights. 10/10 would stay again.

The Moxy is a really good spot in terms of location in the city. The room is a little small, doesnt come with fridge unless its requested. The mattress was comfortable you kinda sink in a little. The bathroom is nice but on the smaller side. The limited bar is convenient, no beer on tap, bar staff is really nice especially Stephanie. The gym is really basic. The room was good honestly would give it 4.5 for overall rating.

Groovy Kind of Place

Our 4 night stay was unexpectedly delightful. The Moxy offers a Great location to my surgery conference at Tufts and good walking distance to many theaters and music venues. Food is offered in a non traditional order then pickup system where you can eat a very nicely nicely prepped meal from a cardboard. They are very eco conscious at this property which appeals to us.

They should update website descriptions I reserved a room with a river view and there was no river view also the rooftop bar is not available everyday only for events something they should specify. When I called the front desk to tell them they give you the “well you booked with a third party” hate that other than that modern,clean, and the food was good!

Great rooftop view and location

We took Amtrak and could walk to the hotel. A perfect location with lots of great restaurants within walking distance. It was a small room, but folding chairs, a folding tablem and wall pegs made the room comfortable. We watched 4th of July fireworks from the rooftop and had a spectacular view. They charge a "resort fee" which can be used in the restaurant, but the available breakfast was mediocre.

The location was great, the room was very clean and had useful amenities such as a steamer. The value for money was okay as there were cheaper hotels in the same area and the staff weren't as helpful sometimes as they could have been (they didnt really explain the security deposit or destination fee very well. Moxy forgot to mention that if you stay for longer than 3 nights they pro rata the security deposit and take it off your card, we were charged $300 without being notified. Overall a good experience.
