The room and the rest of the hotel was pristine and very well decorated. The room had a good deal of amenities (ie. Kitchenette with cookware) especially for the price, and a very nice shower. The hot breakfast buffet had a good variety of options and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This might be my new favorite Chicago hotel! We booked it due to proximity to the arena and that was fantastic but I was blown away by the polite, accommodating service. The breakfast buffet that is constantly refreshed, the gym with wonderfully operating equipment. Our room was spacious and comfortable. So much to love about this historic property!

Our room was set up efficiently with great view of United Center and the town. Breakfast had great variety and plenty of seating. Parking was easy in back of hotel. Loved the museum and history of Cook community hospital. The bar offered a tasty drink but our food had a lot to be desired except for Parmesan fries. Bacon wasn't cooked all the way and chicken was rubbery. Front desk staff was pleasant and friendly.

The staff was super friendly, including the front desk, cleaning staff, and the bartender at the second-floor bar. The hotel is conveniently located to access the UIC West Campus or any of the numerous hospitals and clinics in the area. The room was super clean and reasonably roomy. In typical Chicago fashion, parking is super expensive. There are other hotels in the area that offer cheaper rates per night, provided you are willing to walk a few city blocks. I'm normally disappointed by a "free" hotel breakfast, but this one was really good. A variety of fresh, hot food and healthy options. The hotel lacks bell staff, which would be super helpful considering the parking situation. Additionally, the maintenance staff should be aware that people are sleeping and refrain from yelling at each other down the hallway. It is very disturbing. Other than that, this was a lovely hotel and I will likely stay again in the future.
