When we moved into the hotel we were put into a room.The air conditioning worked very badly,they repaired it once and 2 days later it broke completely and they couldn't fix it.After alot of phone calls we were finally moved into another room however the fridge was broken in that new room.It took them a whole day to fix and change the fridge.Overall ,all the electrical devices are very old and hardly work in this hotel.But there were also some positives like the room was cleaned well everyday and house keepers always helped if needed.

Just back from a week in golden sands 5 for the second time this year and really enjoyed our stay.The staff are extremely polite and helpful especially Ubed who always greeted us with a friendly smile. The location is perfect and we will definitely return. We would definitely recommend golden sands to our family and friends

excellent

Pros: staff were all polite and excellent room service
Cons: Bigger swimming pools. maybe separate pools for adults and children
Location: short taxi ride from the airport. Also not far from dubai mall and burj khalifa. A local boat ride from Bur to Deira centre .
nice room for a family of 5. close location via taxi to Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa. Excellent service, room service and polite manners from all staff.

Close to all the attractions, close to the beach

Pros: Location, Food, Courteous Staff,
Cons: POOL should be left open till late or all night. 8pm pool closing time was a shame.
Excellent Hotel/Apartment. We stayed for 2 weeksm cannot fault this place at all, 5 star service, food in the restruant was excellent, 2 x pools which were great, location was ideal, close to many attractions, 24 hr supermarket 4 mins walk, local burjaman mall 20 mins walk or 12 dhirams via taxi (£2.50), Local Metro 15 mins walk, lots of taxis in the area... mcdonalds approx 15 mins walk, burger king 20 mins walk. Staff were polite and helpful, room service was great. No faults and will definetley be recommending and staying here again.

The Hotel was ideally located

Pros: Clean and tidy, Staff very well trained and courteous at all times.
Cons: Roof top motors noisy at night, if you are on top floor .
Location: lots to do,and places to go.
Taxi rates are very reasonable,most of the tourist sites are only 20 to 30 minutes drive and cost 55 to 80 AED.

Average Hotel with excellent front line staff

I stayed at golden sands 3 hotel on several occasions and the front line staff are out of this world, the service they provide is from their heart and do over and beyond. I would like to mention the few who were very helpful: Safir (coach driver) welcomed me and my girl friend and gave us a quick guide on Dubai history while driving us to the beach. I would like to Thank Gobindar (life guard) who was great and took care of us when we went to swim and use the gym, he maintained the gym very well. I would liketo also thank another life guard (Sameera) who worked by the upstairs pool, my girlfriend lost one of her venneers (tooth crown) was lost in the pool, Sameera was very professinal in his work and explained and assisted us to look for it even when one of the management team was unhelpful but fortunately Sameera managed to find it which brought delight to my girlfriend as these venneers cost £400 each. We will be returning to this hotel as it feels like our Dubai home....and I can't forget the cleaning staff who were awesome thank you all for a wonderful holiday...see you all soon!
