My Stay was not bad after i faced first issue when i arrived to hotel which i found out there is extra fee i have to bay which 80 AED , the room was clean but the carpet was not in good shape I believed require washing .room service was not changing towels and re-filling shampoo and body wash daily until i asked them or I requested

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Shanghri-La Dubai for 2 weeks. The property is beautiful and there’s lots of in dining options, the pool is stunning and the gym and spa facilities are fully equipped! The real highlight of this beautiful hotel is the staff, they went above and beyond to make my stay feel as if I was with family. I looked forward to greeting the staff every morning and at night, my housekeeper Priti was the sweetest along with all the dining staff. I am looking forward to coming back to Dubai soon and staying at the Shangri-La again

Shangri-La Dubai exceeded our expectations and proved to be an exceptional stay for our family of 4 during our time in Dubai. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, helpful and always readily available to assist. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a stunning view of the Burj Khalifa and they wheeled in a twin bed that was neatly made in the living room for our 3 year old as well as a pack and play for our 18 month old to sleep in prior to our arrival. Our room was clean and stocked with EVERY toiletry item you could've needed along with L'Occitane soaps and lotions for use. Every employee from the doorman to our housekeeper was so kind and accommodating. The breakfast buffet each morning was plentiful - stocked with fresh fruits, yogurts, pastries and specialty items along with an omelet station and each time we ordered room service it was timely and delicious. I am SO glad that we chose this hotel over the other 5 star resorts that were mentioned as the best. They truly prioritize service and guest experience. Shangri-La has changed our idea of comfortability and will be our go-to hotel moving forward!

The property is lovely, but the service element just wasn't there. With the exception of the Food & Beverage staff who are the only hotel staff who engaged and checked up on us the rest was disappointing. We got signed up to the Horizon Club then the hotel forgot about us, no follow ups, no personalization, the front desk charged our card when we had indicated not to because we wanted to pay in cash so check out was far from a delight. The concierge wouldn't show us around the hotel when we requested so we had to find our own way. Our room steward changed our linens with mouldy replacements. There's no attention to detail, we looked up other reviews and it seems it's a trend here. We loved the functional spaces around the hotel, however the room didn't have a full size mirror..lots of stuff not expected of a Dubai 5 Star Hotel. It's difficult to want to choose to come back to Shangri La Dubai. There's so much to love, but the service to go with it sadly does not exist.
