What a wonderful gem! We also booked the dinner and dance show that takes place downstairs and it was excellent. Loved the breakfast -- especially the scones! Definitely worth including it.

We have stay at this hotel when we visit Ireland. The hotel is situated next to O’Connell Bridge, which makes it easy to go where you wish to go, with the buses and trains fairly close. The hotel itself is dated but well up to standards. The staff here are very knowledgeable and quite friendly. They have music and shows every night A wonderful place to stay…

Was a bit sceptical when I saw an open bar at the front of the hotel but once we got to reception we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were basic but quite comfortable and staff very accommodating. Location is excellent for a Dublin city break.

Bed was comfortable and room large. We were very pleased. The location was perfect for seeing the touristy side of Dublin, very walkable. The hotel itself has some dated features (e.g. discolored marble in the bathroom) but the soaking tub was perfect.

Great location tho the hotel is a little lomg in the tooth. If you like sterile corporate hotels like Hilton or Marriott, this one is not for you. However, if you want to feel like you’re in the real Ireland, stay here. I would stay here again

Well maintained historic hotel with very good service, ample breakfast buffet, onsite restaurant and convenient location. Transportation is readily available and easy walking distance to many of the Dublin City attractions. The lack of air conditioning could be a drawback in the warmer months.

The property itself is beautiful. The staff was outstanding. But we were there for 3 nights and never once had a hot shower. First night, plumber was allegedly fixing the problem. But we never had hot water in our room the entire time. Disappointing.
