Disappointing

Disappointing, expected more as hotel looks so lovely and high end. Lobby is beautiful upon entering. "Deluxe double room" was very dark, small window behind a corner. Duvet was very thick and dense and bed a small double bed. Coffee tray you had to put on the floor to be able to reach a plug. No milk for tea, just coffee cream. Bathroom there was nowhere to put toiletries around the sink, no shelves in the shower to put shampoo/conditioner bottles. Toilet didn't have a lid to close which is very unhygienic. Breakfast was your standard except for couple of nice touches like freshly squeezed orange juice and smoked salmon. Hotel is in a nice area next to the parks and easily accessible for the city centre.

Really great location that wasn’t a far walk from anything. Desperately needs AC in rooms. Our room was hotter than it was outside which is just not comfortable. Had to call down for a fan but it was still uncomfortable. For the price we expected more comfort. I get that AC isn’t very common but with climate change considerations have to be made.

We had a wonderful stay at the Iveagh Gardens! They were very friendly and accommodating and even allowed us to check in early (for a small fee). After a red-eye flight, it was so nice to be met with such hospitality. Incredible location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. Next time we are in Dublin we will return! Thank you!!
