First night we were In very small rooms. We also had requested adjoining rooms and didn't get them. There was a constant humming noice in the room as well which left us with little too no sleep. However when I spoke with the staff about this the next day they very quickly rectified the situation by moving us too more spacious adjoining rooms.

Excellent hotel

Pros: The hotel was clean, beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful.i have wanted to stay here since visiting for afternoon tea as a child!
Cons: Our room (465) was near an AC system - it was quite noisy, but as we weren't overloooking the street it was otherwise quiet- not a great view!!!
Location: Excellent location, we know Dublin well and it was so nice to be in the heart of the city. A quick stroll to Trinity, Stephen's Green and Graftin St
Staff were so friendly and helpful- especially valet parking, helping me unload bags and get settled into our room. We travelled with a baby and everyone was so considerate and helpful with him. The room had everything you could want- iron, hairdryer, tea and coffee and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Everything was spotless.

A Special Family treat

This was a Christmas treat for myself and my 11 yr old twin daughters and 12 yr old Goddaughter - a trip to Dublin combining the Xfactor live tour in the 3 arena. Staying in the Shelbourne made it the most special adventure imaginable. I believe the kids will be telling their grandchildren about it in many years to come. The staff treated us so wonderfully. The breakfast was a banquet of delights. A swim in the lovely leisure centre pool was an added treat. Thank you!
