Zanzibar is a three minute walk from the Temple Bar area, a three minute walk to an indoor mall, several coffee shops nearby and dozens of restaurants - an excellent location.

Overall our 6-night stay at the Zanzibar Locke was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean and obviously has been recently updated. The location is within easy walking distance of most anything in downtown Dublin. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I wish that some type of coffee maker were in the room...or at least a better coffee offering available in the lobby. The only onsite option was a very small cafe that did not open until 7:00am and had very expensive coffee. Our room (Locke Studio, Accessible Twin) was huge...especially by European standards. But it could have used additional space for setting bathroom items and a clothes dresser or other furniture as so much space was wasted.

great hotel, clean and smelled amazing from the moment you walk in, comfortable rooms and a lot of space. The staff can be friendlier and more accommodating, we got there a little less than an hour before check in and they said they could give us a room for an additional price??? I have been to many hotels in my life and I have never heard of that before. Meanwhile someone who arrived after us got to go their room right away. Otherwise, great location and nice hotel

Zanzibar Locke is wonderful! Very kind staff who are very responsive and helpful. The property is right in the center, so nearly everything is very walkable. The room was clean, spacious, and just all around lovely. Would totally recommend to anyone visiting Dublin.
