Nice hotel in a great location. Very clean. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and good value. As others have mentioned the shower tends to spill onto the floor. Strange design. Also ourAC unit creaked a little as it was redirecting the air which could be annoying during the night.

The Hotel is located near the best things to do in Lisbon, surrounded by good restaurants. The room was clean, small but super comfortable. This was my second time at Convento do Salvador and everything was perfect like the first time.

Hotel Convento do Salvador

Nice hotel located quite close to the river and cruise terminal but on a steep hill (Lisbon is very hilly) Plenty of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. I had a single room which had sufficient storage and space with separate bathroom. Buffet style breakfast was included with hot and cold options. I would stay here again.

Hopefully you don’t have a car because parking would be a night mare for you. Also you are not injured or handicapped because it is in the middle of a steep hill. But the rest was all great!!

We stayed for only one night in mid-July at the end of two weeks in Portugal and are so happy we did. The convento was easy to get to from Santa Apolónia Train Station with a Bolt car pick-up, and centrally located for exploring the city on foot after that. We loved that our room was super clean, air conditioned, and amazingly quiet for being in the heart of Alfama (our room faced the inner courtyard). The bed was firm but comfortable, though the sheets and pillows could have been softer/better quality. We also loved the beautiful spacious courtyard and the buffet breakfast, which had so many top-quality options that we could hardly decide! We’ll definitely be back 💛

The staff was amazing. This cute hotel is on an off street our uber could not take us down. The staff came and got us from where we were dropped off! The rooms were clean and AC worked great when it was hot outside.

The room was small but clean. The location was very good, close to 28 tram stop and santa luzia in a minute by foot. Breakfast was delicious. I give 4/5 because it was very difficult to stroll my luggage from metro up to the hill where this hotel was located. I would like to stay different hotel in flat next time.

Great choice

First time to Lisbon and just happened to end up in this hotel in the Alfama (old town). At first it seemed a bit inconvenient..but turned out to be the best! Great little restaurant a 2 minute walk away…out of the tourist area. Would definitely recommend

The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. The quiet location in Alfama was well-located, within easy walking distance of the castle, church of Sao Vicente, Cathedral, church of St. Anthony’s birthplace, Fado Museum, beautiful and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city and Tagus river. and many fantastic restaurants (including those offering Fado music). The 24/7 staff was friendly, spoke fluent English, and extremely helpful in arranging tours or restaurant reservations. The breakfast buffets were excellent. The hotel is within easy (downhill) walking distance of the cruise terminal.
