I really didn’t have any idea what the hotel would be like other than the great reviews I saw. It’s kind of like if WeWork and an Aloft hotel had a baby :) Lots of young professionals in the lobby as it doubles as a coworking space which was a fun vibe, the staff are very helpful and friendly (shoutout Zak and Xavi, to name a few!) and the rooms have loads of space - you feel like you’re moving into your own cute little studio apartment/flat. The location is also extremely walkable with the London Bridge station about a 10-15 min. walk away and a bus stop right in front of the hotel - grocery stores and restaurants are also in a 5 min. radius! My only cons would be that it would be nice to have more drawer / dresser space for clothes in the room (I bring my whole closet with me when I travel, ha ha) and the gym is SO small 😭 Otherwise, everything was great and I’d love to stay at the Bermonds Locke, Tower Bridge again when I’m back in London!

It was such a great experience at Bermonds Locke. It may seem out of the way, but it is not, especially if you budget a bit for the tube each day if you don't want to walk. There are many dining options nearby and so much to see in this area and just over the bridge. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Our first time in London and it was amazing. Bermondsey is very cute and has lots of local restaurants/bars and is close to the underground. Bermonds Locke was really nice and the receptionist was very helpful and allowed us to check in early due to an early flight in. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Fantastic Stay and Great Value

This property has been a huge value with the many amenities it provides: in-room washer and dryer, full kitchen, a dining area with television. This means you can save money on meals. There is a supermarket nearby so you can make breakfast, snacks fir the museums, etc. I love the cafe downstairs for a really great coffee and pastries. The entire staff needs raises because they were so very lovely and professional. I have no problem at all recommending this property. It is amazingly close to the London Bridge station and very close to the Tower Bridge. It turned out to be a great central location if you want to go to the Tate Modern.
