Some of the staff were amazing, but it was inconsistent. Stay away from the breakfast in the evening bar. The staff is at Best pathetic and the food is terrible.

This is a lovely hotel steps away from everything! We were able to easily walk to all the sights and there were tons of amazing pubs and restaurants all around. The room was lovely and well appointed and staff were friendly. My one piece of info for fellow travellers is that while they have added a lift at the front for wheelchair and walker access, it is quite difficult to navigate getting luggage up and into the hotel for people not needing that service. I saw quite a few people really struggle with large suitcases trying to get them up the few stairs at the front. Not sure if there is a staff member who can monitor this.

Excellent location to all the attractions. They have a living room for coffee and tea and water. We stayed there for 4 days. And one morning at 6.30 am some stranger opened our door and said sorry. It was scary.

Museums, River Thames and St James Park are highlights in this area. Hotel is on a lovely street and our room was quiet and very clean. The staff is first class, very helpful and friendly.
