the ac was very loud and unfortunately not effective/working, we set it to the min temp and always on (based on the front desk recom) but still very much humid and warm inside, the fan was super super loud and noisy! you have to put earplugs to be able to tolerate it! we could not sleep! the bathroom condition is funky! the shower has a curtain which I think was at least couple of years old, not clean and very low quality! the sink was weird, the tap was super small and in the corner it makes it very hard to wash your hands! I think given the price and 4 star condition, they could have done a renovation for bathrooms!! the neighborhood is amazing! very walkable and very nice!

Very disappointing. Good bed. Very basic room.

A big disappointment overall. No safe in the room - this is a first in any hotel for me. No aircon. No fridge. No wine glasses. Boring decor with white painted walls and no pictures or decoration. Cheap thin shower curtain. Filthy windows, dirty window frame. No heated mirror in bathroom to stay useable after shower. There was an ice machine in the corridor but no ice tub or bag in the room. Tv was faulty and kept setting audio description on. Not a major issue but very annoying. Finally the £100 deposit taken I was told would take three days to repay. The location is excellent and the bed is very comfy but overall a massive disappointment for a special stay. This hotel should not be in this chain until basic errors and problems are addressed. A city centre hotel with no air con or room safe should be a 1 star hotel.
