Check-in was easy, but if I hadn’t mentioned that I had already paid for breakfast, they would have charged me again. In the bathroom, the shower height couldn't be adjusted because it was broken. The towel radiator didn’t work properly (it kept switching on and off). It wasn’t possible to change TV channels on the television. The tap was heavily scaled with limescale. The room hadn’t been vacuumed properly. The bed was wide, which was great and gave us plenty of space, but it wasn’t long enough and my feet were hanging off the edge. That said, it was comfortable, and we had a pleasant stay because the room was very quiet. Overall, it was good value for money. Many people had criticised the breakfast, but in our opinion, it was absolutely fine. All in all, it’s a good hotel it just needs a bit more attention to cleanliness and maintenance.

Great hotel

Beautiful hotel and friendly helpful staff. It’s in a virbrant area in Shoreditch, but you can’t hear anything.

Main thing Lift was broken for whole weekend not good when room on 6 th floor No one in charge of Hotel .Nightmare Avoid this hotel at all cost 700 sterling for 3 nights

Terrible Hotel!!

TERRIBLE!!!! Nothing like the pictures. Terrible check in as even though we had been told there would be a space in the parking area when we arrived to be told "sorry no space". Our room {which we were told was wonderful by the check in lady} overlooked the tired roof garden with no privacy curtains. Basically everyone looked in. However we were assured that the roof terrace closed at 10pm so we headed out to dinner only to return to a terrace full of people, lights off chatting and drinking for ages!! The pool and spa area was a joke! dark and sleezy was the only way to describe it. We travel alot for work and have never experienced such a terrible hotel. Definitely will never return and would not recommend staying.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The hotel staff was extremely rude during checkout, which left a bad impression. Additionally, many of the amenities came at an extra cost—something that was not explained at check-in. We also had to ask twice and wait a long time for guest services to bring towels to the pool. Poor communication and lack of hospitality made this experience frustrating. Would not recommend.

We were going to an event at Shoreditch town hall which is over the road from the hotel so decided to treat ourselves as it was so convenient. The staff were lovely, nothing too much trouble for them. We had an upgrade, the room was large and the bed was a king size. The bathroom was a good size and modern. The handheld shower could do with better water pressure but not sure that was the fault of the hotel- I also felt it needed a nonslip mat in the shower. There were tea and coffee making facilities, some fruit in a bowl and cold bottled water in the fridge- as well as some milk for tea. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Nice place- but breakfast a rip off

Nice place.. breakfast was £58 for 2 people.. on top of £200 for 1 night stay.. with no parking.. lovely place- lovely staff and roof terrace. But £29 for a breakfast.. was a rip off.. and no parking disappointing. Would stay again. But would not buy breakfast at that price

This is a fine hotel, its clean and normal. However it does NOT look as fancy as the photos. I spent more money on this as I wanted a bit of luxury at the end of a few weeks trip, but what I got was not much better than the Premier inn. So so disappointed. Even though I was on the 3rd floor, the window was so high up I couldn't look out of it and it felt like a basement. Be warned!!!
