Friendly staff at check-in. The room was ready before 3 pm, which we appreciated after a long journey. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was ok, but the scarmbled egg was cold. Good variety of food and fruit juice was nice. Seated quickly despite it being peak time for breakfast. Further than I thought to Kings Cross tube, a good 15/ 20 minute walk. Would probably stay there again though.

Good but slow

The stay itself was fine. I had parking, and the room was ready when I arrived. However, each time we had to queue at reception, it took a long time. I don’t blame the lovely staff, as they spend most of their time waiting and staring at the screens. I think this is due to old or poor internal software systems. Each guest checking in or making an inquiry was waiting because of the slow systems.

Terrible terrible terrible.....Here were my issues power went off on day 1. there is no backup generator. We had travelled from overseas with jet lag and no sleep possible since there was no power. There is no one available to service it even. This is only in one wing so it was an issue with the hotel electricity. The room was infested with spider. There was chewing gum stuck in teh sink. The bathroom ceiling was leaking. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL

Checkin was terrible .long queue . Got there at 3 only 1 room available out of 2 . Aircon didn’t work properly . Stayed in a Crowne Plaza at Stratford week before was excellent . The London one was nothing like the Stratford one . For £200.00 per room per night this was terrible value for money . Never stay there again

Noisy latecomers next door!

Very nice hotel overall. Good breakfast. Comfortable and very clean room. Only disappointment, but impactful, room had an adjoining door to another and conversations and general noise woke us up at 1.30 in the morning. We would have appreciated being asked if we minded before being allocated the room.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross station. It has a beautiful lobby, lounge and restaurant. It is in a safe area and is nice and quiet. The staff are very professional and helpful. Our family room was snug and there wasn’t any controllable a/c, but otherwise, no complaints.

Average and ok!

Basic but ok! A little dated in the room and quite a creaky bed. The reason I give less stars is the room wasn’t very well thought about. The hair dryer was fixed no where near a mirror, and the only plug was also nowhere near a mirror for hair straightening, which isn’t very practical. And the bed creaked a lot.
