Good location

It was my first time in London and I was looking for an affordable hotel close to the city center. The hotel is in a great location. The staff were helpful and nice. My only complaint is that the room is extremely small. You can barely fit two people in the room. The bathroom is tiny, with the shower and sink next to each other. Overall, it's a good hotel if you only need a place to sleep and shower.

Grotty room

The room was filthy. Furniture broken, almost fell through a chair. Pilloes ripped and stuffed back in a pillow case. When you flush the toilet or use a tap the whole room vibrates. Same happens when neighbours use their plumbing. No milk or sugar or tea in the room only coffee powder. Poor quality. Continental breakfast disappointing, no cheese, old croissants.

NO WAY

we didnt manage to stay into that hotel (Guilford House Hotel). for 100 pounds to stay in the basement (hole) NO WAY, even that we offered a room to the upper floor. we walk down to the main road (southampton row)we found the Imperial Hotel, and with the same amount of money we got a proper room and much more services
