Rock hard beds with dips in the mattress

Beautiful room with great views but the moment we got into bed it was clear the mattress was way past its best. Unfortunately it was rock hard and a dip in the centre meant we constantly rolled into it. I told staff at the front desk who said someone would email me but they didn’t. The shower gel pump was broken as well

The reception checking in service was very inefficient. Although breakfast was included my booking for 2 nights and paid fully at the time of booking on Expedia, we were turned down at the restaurant for breakfast. I showed my booking confirmation email which clearly stated the breakfast was included, we were asked to wait for about 10 minutes at the table before the staff came back to tell me tgat the breakfast was not included. Then we were asked to go dowbstairs to go to the reception and yo check it again. Then the receptionist said it was included. She put it down toExpedia website not connecting to their website. I xannot believe how inefficiently they run what the so called 5 star hot and make the guest feeling as if we were cheating ! And caising an argument . The checking in process took so long in tge narrow cooridor , with a small desk with 3 staff proceesing 1x checking in for a couple in front of me took over 20 minutes. I dobt really think these staff know what they were doing. There was no erlcoming atmosphere either. If notbecause of the lication, i would not recommend here . I paid over £580 for two nights.

I would not recommend. The room was tiny and not suitable as a hotel room. Bed was pushed against the wall and we had to struggle in and out. The bathroom was tiny. There were no usb outlets, no kettle, no tea- just coffee. We requested iron and it took ages and once it arrived we struggled as it took up half the space . I was shocked given what we paid. Stay at the Y.

Honestly the room and the everyone there were so friendly. Also so apologetic when one of the rooms was not ready for a while. There was a little incident with a man slumped at the lift area but apart from that it was a wonderful hotel. Would stay again

Everything was good overall. Decided to have breakfast there. When I said the toast was burnt, the waiter agreed and I heard him telling someone else, but no one offered me another choice. Seems a shame not to include unlimited coffee in the breakfast price but charge for extra cups.

Excellent site at Kings Cross with several U-lines and train stations. Friendly staff, very clean rooms. But avoid floor 5: small windows & low water pressure

Staff were amazing but the room is not 5*, more like a 3* hotel. Bathroom is aged and not clean. Many visible discoloration on tile joins and stains on walls of room. If this was a 3* hotel I wouldn't have cared but having stayed in real 5* hotels this hotel is 3* at best but they charge 5* prices. The only advantage of this hotel is it's proximity to underground and kings cross station.
