My room was neat and tidy, nothing flash but perfectly fine. Location is excellent, immediate access to public transport all over London, also the train stations have shops open late/early. Plenty of places to sit down to eat or get takeout or buy a few staples. My room was front corner of the hotel and no noise issues, it also had blackout curtains so I didn’t have any trouble sleeping. Rooms also have UK and Euro power points

Quite shocking at just how terrible this property was. Hole in the floor, hallway smelling of bleach, room smelling musty, air con unit smelling of chemicals at night, ceiling had water marks. Staff did not want to allow a change of room till the next morning for some arbitrary rule of before 11 am only. Was forced to switch to a different hotel, with zero accommodation, responsibility, or compensation offered by Kings Cross. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The full size bed had 2 cot mattresses with springs protruding. Mattresses caused back muscle issues. Staff didn’t care. Also bedding was stained. Would like refund

It did the job

Not bad for the price and across the road from King’s Cross but was really grubby and uncomfortably warm, there was a fan but it smelt really musty. Marks and damage all over the walls but they make you pay a deposit incase you cause damage. The room definitely needs a bit of fixing!

Only good for its location

Rude front desk man, tiny room, no safe, window right next to a restaurant, super loud hallway, limited storage space, no reception area with tables to wait for check in, overall below average experience, but you get what you pay for. It’s 30 seconds from King’s Cross station and that unfortunately makes it worth staying at.

Great location reasonable value for money

The hotel was very good in letting us leave our bags in the morning before we checked in so was an excellent service. The room was fine and clean however the metal style beds were uncomfortable which wasn’t ideal. The tiles in the bathroom floor were loose but it was all ok for our needs. The other thing that was very good was hotel was right across from the station

Needs complete revamp building site next door.

Take note major building works going on next door big nosey building site from 7:30 … till late The hotel is situated directly opposite King’s Cross station … that’s the only good thing about it. Then again it’s very noisy music being played till 01:30 . The entrance is dirty scruffy and the carpet is filthy. The staff could hardly look you in the eye on check in no real greeting. The lift … worked The key to the room worked… The room smelt of stale drain but had been tried to cover up with air freshener. The bed sheets where clean and do where the towels . Overall the hotel needs a revamp and staff need to be taught about hospitality Wouldn’t stay again would pay the extra to stay in a decent nice friendly clean hotel.
