While there is a lift in the building it only goes to some of the floors which resulted in us having to carry all our bags up at least one flight of stairs. Our room was also right next to the busy intersection and above all of the air conditioning units so was very noisy. And the air conditioning unit was noisy too. While super convenient to the train station I would not recommend the hotel if you want a good nights sleep - unless of course you are able to request a room further from the road.

Positives: able to store bags before and after stay, helpful staff when had a problem with lost item under storage unit. Negatives: staff not overly friendly and difficult to hear behind screen, lift doesn't go all the way to top floor, air con ineffective as it barely cooled and seemes to be powered by a butterflies wing. Towel rail hanging off wall, covered in bites after having to sleep with window open, which also led to a lot of noise from main road

Decent location. Person at the front desk got upset when we asked for a second keycard. Someone elses hair was in the shower. The restroom had a sewage smell coming from it.

The location was great for touring by foot. The room was a bit shabby - holes in the wall where anchors held a curtain hook, water damage on the floor from condensation dripping from a heat exchanger, scuffed walls... But it was clean. Floors in bathroom are dangerous slippery when wet (all gloss tile). One odd quirk of architecture: there are half-floors. To get to our 2nd floor room, we had to go down half a floor to get to the elevator, then up three and walk down half a floor to our level. We were however on a budget, and given that constraint, it was a good match and at least it was genuinely clean.

Proximity to tube and train station was fantastic but along with that comes a great deal of homeless people begging for money and fighting outside of the station so beware, especially at night! The lobby and common areas of the hotel are a bit rough. Our room on the first floor had a double and single bed which were surprisingly comfortable. The floor in the room (faux wood) was severely worn and desperately needs to be replaced. The bathroom, especially the rainfall shower, was the highlight. Best shower ever! Great water pressure and temperature!

While the staff was very friendly, I was quite thankful that this stay was only one night. The hotel was very odd. My room was down in a basement area and had no windows. The bathroom was underneath a staircase. The toilet and vanity were literally inside of the shower (everything in one wet area). Again, the staff was very pleasant but I would not recommend this hotel as your main stay for London.

We were traveling to France for our next stage and this hotel was an easy reach of Eurostar. Only one problem, to get to the elevator you had to pack your suitcases down a flight of stairs to access it. Room was small but doable.

Great location, needs a revamp.

Fantastic location. Check in and bag drop staff helpful. Bedding clean. General cleanliness of hotel not great, shower didn't have any hot water work so we all had cold showers. Not the end of the world but not also what you'd expect for over £200 a night. Reported the problem but they made no effort to resolve it. Without this issue it's a 5/10 hotel and worth the money (just) for central London. Room 319

Never again.

For a doubleroom this was very poor standard. The 4th floor room for both myself and husband as we are quite tall and the slopes in the room meant we could not get into the bed without hurting ourselves. Thankfully it was just the 1 night, but never again. The area was very noisy all night.
