My husband and I stayed 4 nights. We were very pleased with our stay. It is only a few minutes walk to the tube station and walkable to the Tower of London and other sites. The staff was welcoming and professional. Our room had a great view and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was awesome. I would fully recommend.

The staff are great but there were broken items like the toilet flush , the small fush was broken. Pillows stained under the pillow casing. Bathroom needed drcorating and found a disposable razor stuck to the curtain base. The bathroom needs decorating in the outside bar area the rattan table had missing glass and rattan cushions looked worn/stained. We could not reduce the temperature of the room as could not work the control panal thus had to open a window where fenchurch street railway station was noisy with hustle n bustle of announcements and people. We were buy the life abd thus heard tye mechanusns and people talking through the walls. The room was a delux but the size of a shoebox. One of the key problems for me was at breakfast a spatular for eggs was knocked onto the floor by the staff and he put it back on the stand for people to use, I pulled him up on it and he went back to kitchen to replace the utensil. However It opens a question about best practice for dining.

Beware if needing an accessible bedroom!

If using Tesco club card points expect a poor standard!! I was given the wheelchair access room which had no day light coming into both windows! No remote for TV and no ability to turn central and bathroom lights off from bed at night. I had to use my phone to see myself back to bed! Very poor for someone who was in a wheelchair!! Fortunately, I wasn’t! Reception team happy howerever to move me to a superior room but not the point here. Beware if you are in a wheelchair! Very depressing room!! This room was no cheaper than a standard!

Great Hotel

Great as always lovely hotel close to everything right on top of a tube station. Great pool and spa facilities. Only let down is the bathrooms are dated and could do with modernisation but still is great hotel.

Nice enough hotel. Swimming pool is the best thing here. Huge indoor pool with good sauna & steam. Staff all lovely & very helpful. Restaurant food & staff very good. Ask for a room with a view as our room looked onto an internal space full of air con units & not out towards tower bridge as we’d hoped to get.
