A really lovely hotel and really friendly, helpful staff. The room was nice, clean and the perfect size for the 4 of us and really good location. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We are glad we stayed at Mitre House Hotel in London for five nights in October 2025. The room was tiny but everything was clean and functional. We liked the breakfasts. But don't be surprised by the unlevel and squeaky floors.

This is my fifth stay at the Mitre House. I find it fits my needs perfectly as I like being so close to Paddington Station and can get around London easily from there. The staff are very hospital. The rooms are adequate albeit small.

Great little place to stay in what 5mis walk from paddington station, free parking too, such a bonus if driving into London and just outside the inner congestion charge. Would absolutely stay here again

We booked the hotel a month prior to the arrival date and noticed 'Vacancy' signs on the front door but our request to change the room was denied despite repeated requests since the "hotel was fully booked", which may be true. Polite staff, especially the servers in the kitchen.

My stay at the Mitre House Hotel in London was a great experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the included breakfast was top notch with quick, friendly service and good traditional English breakfast. The rooms are nothing fancy, but my room, while small, was scrupulously clean and the bed was comfortable, which was really all I needed as I did not spend a great deal of time there except when I was sleeping. The hotel was convenient to Paddington Station and from Paddington you can get pretty much anywhere you want to go in London with ease. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to be out and about touring in London all day and just want a cozy place to rest at night. 10/10 would gladly stay again.

This hotel had room for the whole family. It is a block from Paddington Station, which made it great for a stopover in between the airport and further train travel. We stayed at the end of Oct. The rooms get very warm and there is not really a way to adjust the temp. Over all a good spot to stay!

Great location but very old.

The Mitre House Hotel is in a great location. You can easily walk to the Paddington Underground Station and there were many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is very old. The room was very small and a little outdated. The breakfast was the same everyday. All the personnel at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, but I hope that if we return to London we can afford a more modern hotel.
