Room was clean, we had nice room at the front with balcony, staff friendly. Beds comfy. Towels were changed everyday, would suggest this should be optional, to save unnecessary cleaning. The reception area was a bit messy, lots of laundry lying about, could just do with a tidy up down there ! Great location lots round about restaurant wise, coffee shops too.

Maybe I just got unlucky with the room that I was in. My room (26) was a small single, small being the most generous use of the word small ever. Fortunately I’m no taller than 5’8” - if you are and end up in this room I guarantee you that you won’t fit.The single bed just about fitted into the room and if I’d had a suitcase it would’ve had to have gone in the shower. There was a small 2 drawer cupboard that I didn’t open but everything that I put on top of it had to be unstuck for me to pick anything up. I just about managed to navigate the 1 pillow bed but it most definitely wasn’t the best night in a hotel that I’ve ever had. The TV didn’t have any programmes available as there wasn’t any signal to serve it. Bizarrely though I had to leave my room card at the reception whenever I left the room. Friendly enough staff but I won’t be returning here.

Great location, comfortable room, pleasant staff!

Our stay at the Notting Hill Gate Hotel was great.The location was excellent.- especially when needing to get to Heathrow during strike action which closed all underground stations. Although we didn't have a window we could look out nor open, we had an A/C unit which kept the room comfortable. The bathroom was newly renovated and the shower was wonderful. They also provided us with fresh towels every day which was unexpected but appreciated. I would definitely stay here again on another visit.

The room was clean, but the shower only had shampoo and body wash sachets, as opposed to a dispenser, the wall mounted fan was clearly on it’s last legs, and the curtains weren’t able to be expanded out far enough to really block out all the light. The lobby has seen better days, and could definitely use updating. Overall I would say this hotel is ok for a night or two, but would look for somewhere with nicer amenities for a longer stay

Conveniently located and clean. However, we had a double room which was extremely small and clustered, we couldn't even open up our suitcases on the floor. It wasn't worth the money.

The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the neighborhood—there was plenty to see and do within walking distance. Unfortunately, our experience was impacted by a leak in the ceiling of our room. For both nights of our stay, we were woken up by water dripping from the floor above. While the hotel had placed a bucket in the room to catch the drips, we believe this room should not be made available to guests until the issue is fully resolved.
