The staff were excellent, helpful and always with a smile. Breakfast was good but at times trays were empty. The bed was hard and the springs affected our sleep and left with painful side. Overall it's in a good location and is great value for money

We spent 3 nights at the Porchester. The staff as very helpful, the room had everything we needed, but the electric points could do with some attention ( some didn’t work, and usb’s would be helpful), the breakfast was basic and could do with a bit more imagination. Finally the location is excellent with easy access to the city and lovely walks in Kensington Gardens

The hotel was on a great location, my only take aways was that the light of the room didn’t work if you don’t leave the card on a machine to keep them on and the electricity plugs stopped working on our last day which made us believe we had ours broken and had to go get a new one.

We were allowed to check in earlier than the time allotted. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Nice room on the top floor. Nice and quiet and clean, as were the corridors and reception rooms. We didn't have the breakfast, but it did look nice! Tube stations within about 5 minutes walk. Local High street had a good choice of eateries and shops. The lovely park was about 3 minutes walk. So, all good, I would highly recommend! 😊

Good stay if you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep. Room was clean and spacious for 2 people, location was good for public transit and walking to sites. Unfortunately the bed was extremely uncomfortable, a spring mattress. Our room lights did not work, nor the iron. It was fine but nothing special. The price reflects the experience

Although I was given a Club room, with coffee machine, bottled water and fridge, the room was very noisy. The mattresses and pillows were poor quality, so sleeping was a challenge. The TV did not work and I was informed that there was an issue with the antennas affecting the entire hotel. Overall a very disappointing stay & I won't be returning.

Great location and clean room. Mattress was super hard. Despite requesting an early check-in several times, upon arrival there was no room ready for me. Complete lack of hospitality upon arrival. I had to really advocate for what I needed. Personally, I wouldn't stay here again, but it was clean and in a great location, so Im sure if I had encountered nicer staff I'd enjoy coming back.
