Very dated hotel room with cracks in bath, frayed carpet, generally unclean floors and surfaces. Could not accommodate our request for twin beds on arrival so ruined our stay and would not give us a refund.

Paid for superior room requested twin beds 1 month prior to arrival as myself and my 18 year old daughter were travelling together . This apparently wasn’t possible and a comment was made about the fact I booked on hotels.com . Maybe if I had booked with them directly this would not have been an issue . It’s also irrelevant as I paid the same . The hotel was full so we shared the bed. The room 223 avoid definitely not superior in anyway. Small pokey noisy very warm and light flooded in at 6am every morning due to inadequate window dressings . The location is excellent the beds are comfortable. But this is definetely not a 5 star .

Badly maintained hotel in fantastic location.

Arrival was great. Polite and friendly staff and offered a glass of prosecco. But that’s where the “great” ends. From the pavement and the lobby it’s a lovely modern looking hotel. Our room however was extremely tired, dirty and dated. In need of quite a bit of love and tlc. The bed - only a double which is a surprise nowadays, was clean and comfy but that’s about as good as it got. Furniture and paintwork dated and damaged. Chair with a broken leg, curtains which wouldn’t close properly (and the room was at the front of the hotel with the lights firm Leicester Square blazing through the windows. The ceiling had kind of been repainted after the installation of randomly placed spotlights, but one had been painted over and one had missed being painted round completely. No milk supplied for the drinks facilities so had to go and ask for some and were only given three sachets. The bathroom door was badly damaged along the bottom, very dirty in one corner and the shower either froze or scalded you. Overall, despite its fantastic location we have stayed in much much nicer, better kept hotels in similar locations and would hesitate to stay here again.

The reception and staff were really great but the bedrooms were well below average/or slightly luxurious. Rooms not boutique level or even near. Clean enough but the shower was in the bath with non draining water , carpets old , window on to a wall etc Could do with a fair bit of updating - would I stay there again , only if it was in line with travel lodge prices ! I was on my own but room was poky for 2!

The elegant decor created a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. The room was spotless and comfortable, providing everything needed for a restful stay. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. The on-site amenities were top-notch and added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly memorable stay.

Nice hotel. Great location. Great service. Room we had had a faulty door lock service cupboard in room was open and did not shut. Room was tired and needed to be spruced up. Also was not cleaned well as receipts for M&M world and Lego were on the floor certainly not a five star experience. Shame really

Reception staff are outstanding! Room was wonderful and the hotel is in an incredible location close to shopping entertainment and bars/ restaurants. A must visit for a visit to London.

Excellent location with easy walking access to many popular sites in London. Despite the activity in the area, the hotel room was perfectly quiet. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and responsive to all our questions and requests, and had the room set up upon arrival for our family of four. Highly recommend!
