The Hotel is loosing quality standards

I have gone 3 times to this hotel. I like the convenient location, but the hotel is in really poor condition. Dirty, unclean, poor conditions of towels, sheets, etc.

Amazing staff! So friendly and willing to help every time you walk through the door. Room was clean, coffee and tea makers were super convenient and I used both! Only thing I would say that isn’t positive is the bed is not comfortable at all. It was really bad. Needs, at minimum, a mattress topper, pillow top or egg crate, something to give it a little cushion. Otherwise, it is stiff as a board with no give.

We had Room 324 and it was excellent. Easy walking distance to British Museum, west end Theatres, Elizabeth Line to LHR. Breakfast was fine with great service. We bought a package from Expedia with flight, hotel, and breakfast included; I might not have wanted to pay 25 GBP each per day for breakfast. But breakfast at nearby restaurants was about the same. Room was refreshed daily, great service. Lots of places to plug in your phones/computers. (Get an eSim card for your phone: cheap!) Great hotel wifi. We choked a little on the cost for early check in, but after a red-eye flight from Canada, it was worth it. The UK is expensive by Canadian standards. Live with it!

Good location and a good price. The hotel maybe 4 star but the room was 2 star. Bathroom floor badly stained, plumbing made odd noises. The bedroom was very tired, it needs a complete refurb.

We will absolutely be staying here again. The hotel is conveniently located, very clean, and the room spacious and comfortable. The staff was wonderful to deal with.

The checkin was awful. I ordered months in advance a room with two beds and did not receive it the staff werent aware of the request even though I showed them it was stated in the booking. The next day we were moved to a room with two beds. They claimed they don't provide any of the VIP perks claimed by Expedia. The room was not cleaned and only towels were changed and the bed made. All the trash was left in the room. The location is good but very noisy.

Generally very good. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool on warm days. (room 524). Need to replace/add flexible water seal under tub/shower glass door. Leaked too much water onto the floor during every shower. Staff was good !

The hotel is situated in a good location, the main areas are clean and the staff are friendly but the condition of the room was appalling. Some lights weren’t working, the bathroom was in disrepair with the flush and sink hanging off the wall, the bathmat was mouldy and the air conditioning was broken. We arrived to check in at 3pm but asked to wait as the room was still being cleaned then inspected - but neither was done very well as we found items from the last guest on the floor.
