Decent, but a few issues.

Air con in room VERY noisy. Had to decide whether to be awake and cool or try to sleep and overheat. Walls seem paper thin - adjoining room door meant I could hear every word the ladies next door were talking about. Service overall is fine - bar isn’t very good. No beer on tap for both nights I was there and unceremoniously dumped out at 10pm with little to no notice.

Tiny room, good staff & food, deposit caution.

The staff were all very helpful and polite. Check in was smooth. We found the room, very small and the ensuite was tiny, even the toilet flush handle scraped into the wall when used. The shower was cramped (caravan like). The beds were comfy, lovely duvets and pillows. The gym was terrible. Tiny and smelly. There is, however a gym in the Bloomsbury opposite which can be used. A shame to have to cross the road in the rain to go use it though. Breakfast was very nice. Plenty of choice, all well cooked, the eggs benedict was delicious. They took £50 deposit on arrival, which wasn't explained prior to the stay (straight from account rather than held on card). I am still waiting for it to be returned 3 days later. This is very bad form and unlike any other hotel I've encountered. The staff all work very hard and are to be commended. The room/ensuite size and deposit situation are deal breakers, and we won't be returning. We would however consider the Bloomsbury.

The staff on reception were welcoming. The hotel is in a great location. The hotel rooms need some tlc and updating. The soft furnishings/blinds are worn and the paintwork poor. The carpets both in the room & corridors need a deep clean.

My stay was excellent. Great location with tube stop close by (Tottenham Court). Surrounding area is good. My room was a smaller one for solo traveler — it was well designed and comfortable. Smart design and full quality — would not hesitate to take this option again when traveling solo. Hotel is clean and well managed.

Great hotel

Great location, friendly staff and clean comfortable sized rooms. The only disappointment was the air con was not working correctly and given it was approx 30 degrees it made it uncomfortable.
