Lovely hotel in the heart of the city

Lovely room. Bathroom a bit tired. Only issue I had was the lift was opposite my room so was woken a number of times from this. On check out I mentioned this and was told I could have asked for another room but didn't see the point for the short stay we were here. Staff were lovely. Could store luggage the whole time we were at London.

Left very disappointed

Lovely hotel, great location. However, when we were checking in, it seems a twin room hadn’t been reserved for us, even though I had requested one. There was no free upgrade, and it soon became apparent, that they had to put us in the last resort room. The sink had a massive crack in it, but mainly there was a huge problem with the shower, it was either scolding hot or freezing cold. (I find it hard to believe, that no one else had not complained about this) We had to go to reception to complain, as the phone was not working (coincidence?). The plumber allegedly tried to fix it while we were out that night. The following morning it was still not working (my friend scolded herself for the second time). I had to get dressed minus a shower and go to reception again to complain, as there was still no working phone. They accommodated us by finding another room, but it was highly inconvenient as we had to wait. Being in a twin room, (they were tiny) there wasn’t much available. We mentioned the broken phone, but the phone was not replaced. The manager had great customer service, and did what she could under the circumstance. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide, many 4 stars and have rarely needed to complain. But feel pretty disappointed by Raddison, and feel the free £10 drink voucher they gave us, just didn’t cut the mustard. The new room was small but good. If we had received it the first time round, this review would have (like most of my reviews) been very positive.

Good location

Very nice hotel. Good location. Big shout- out to Michael the Concierge- very helpful and friendly. Got us a cab, helped with bags. Great guy. Only downside is that the USB plugs are very far from the bed

Noise

Noise at night meant not been able to sleep. I reported the air con (which was turned off) was making a lot of noise. Night staff were quick to help and changed my room.. 5 mins later, same problem. So i changed again. Problems happen.. so i was happy the staff dealt with it quickly. Management should always try sleeping in a room from time to time to get the customer experience!!

Air conditioning did not work

Air conditioning did not work. Reported the matter and was assured someone would come and check and bring a fan. No one came I had to report again the next day and although no one checked I did receive a fan. Unfortunately due to the heat I could not sleep. I had to open windows and left the hotel with a few bites. I expect better from a Radisson.

Nice clean hotel

Very clean hotel and staff very welcoming. Or room was very warm slept with the window open the bathroom was very hot made it uncomfortable. Pillows were very soft I couldn’t sleep well as once you laid on it, it felt like you was laying flat and had no pillow. We were given a voucher on arrival for a discounted breakfast. We used this and had breakfast which wasn’t great the choice of food was amazing but the hot food was only just warm we had to ask for a cup of tea again only just warm. The hotel is great for location only 10/15 mins walks from the likes on Leicester Square and Oxford street
