The room was pretty grim and builders right outside the window meant needing to close the curtains for privacy which meant no natural light so even darker. The building work, which I wasn’t informed of until after booking and paying in full meant the hotel wasn’t at its cleanest. Great location but really put me off returning.

I have stayed here before and felt that although expensive, it was worth the luxury. However this time, our room was very tired, carpet was badly stained, rust in the bathroom, and chipped paint. The air conditioning did not work at all. I was really disappointed. It is rare for me to complain. I never do it. I think the hotel needs to hear though, that not everyone is ok with spending so much money to be uncomfortable.

Great stay for concert at Cadogan Hall & tennis at Queens. Comfortable room with good aircon; bright, modern bathroom with plenty of hot water; very little noise from street or builders. All staff great & a very nice table-service breakfast. Very good value via Expedia, would not hesitate to recommend.

Good price for the area. Clean and excellent bedding/bed. Room was teeny— only built for one person (and luckily I was solo). One thing to note, the main lobby closes at midnight so if you come back to the hotel expect to find a locked door and a sign taped to the window pointing you down the street to another entrance. It caught me off guard as there was no signage previously or mention at check in.

Throughout my staty in hot summer, the air conditioning did not work. The hotel provided me 2 fans, but it was not enough. Everything else was good. Loved the rain shower with good water force.

The hotel staff are very friendly. You feel well looked after. The breakfast menu has most things and quality extremely good . We found evening menu limited so ate out the middle night we were there . Please note there is building noise at the moment. We always have a Chelsea twin a very nice room a fridge in the room would make it perfect

We really enjoyed our stay at Sloane Place.The location was great and the room was nice. Unfortunately, they still had a lot of construction going on so it was a little noisy. But they kept the mess to a minimum and were pretty respectful.

Second year we stayed here when visiting Chelsea Flower Show - last year we got the heads up that refurbishing works were ongoing - no problem. This year no mention and our room directly facing noisy and dusty works - staff said - just complain!! And no VIP benefits included?? Apart from that hotel and staff are great!
