The wifi seemed slow but with so many people in the lobby using it, it wasnt surprising. The room was quiet and a touch small for us but we made it work. The staff were extremely helpful, polite, and gave us great recommendations for the area. We did have an air conditioner issue but the staff got it fixed for us while we were out. There are some great shops, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. The hotel is conveniently located to bus and underground transportation which helped us on our travels.

Maybe it was our choice of toom...but it was very cramped with little space to move and lighys that got in pur way when we moved and little space on night stands etc.

Good hotel, overall

Good hotel overall. Great location. Good bar area and lounge, vibrant and good table service. Rooms are small. You also need to request your room to be cleaned each day (wasn't mentioned at check in and then had to request this - which they forgot each day - hotel should include this as standard). Good hotel though overall, would recommend for shot stays though given room sizes and having to request room cleaning.

For this area of London this is a good deal but the rooms are very small, even the “Roomy” category. The staff is fantastic and it’s hard to beat the location. Stylish, convenient, clean and comfortable.

Love the Hox

My third time at The Hoxton Holbourn and it continues to be one of my favorites. The location, the vibe and atmosphere. I’ve also stayed at Southwark which is also excellent but in terms of convenience to restaurants and theater I would recommend Holbourn.

All Fur coat.

The room was small as expected, but although advertised as a queen bed, it appeared to be a standard double. It was also broken and creaky. You can hear noise from the corridor as if there is no door. Long queue to check in. Customer service is fairly useless. I got about 4 emails back, all saying different things about the same question. By the time they came up with the right answer, the change date had passed, and they wouldn't allow a change to the booking. The bar is eye-wateringly expensive. There are many better hotels local to this for the money.
