Very quick and courteous check in followed by a short tour of the hotel. Luggage arrived in room super fast. Very tasty lunchtime snack in quiet surroundings. Bottle of bubbly left in our room as it was my husband’s birthday which was a nice gesture. Lovely brekkie the following morning and quick and easy checkout. Will revisit in the future

Birthday gift to myself

This is my second time staying at the Kensington. The staff was wonderful and they tried really hard to meet all my needs. They surprised me with a balloon, sparkling wine and a really good Victoria sponge cake. The bed was really comfortable and I received turned down service every night. Afternoon tea was wonderful and delicious. The only problem was one of the elevators’ buttons didn’t work for my floor. But other than that it was a lovely experience.

I would not stay here again!!

The hotel and room were nice but my view was the back of another building. That i could live with but i was so cold, because the heating would either not come on and/or stay on. I had to keep phoning reception for them to turn my heating up/on. After the third time i was just annoyed given this is a 5 star hotel and i paid the advertised rate to be there for a number of days. Apart from the heating issue things were fine. The staff were friendly and professional but i will be staying at the Hyatt Regency Churchill hotel when i return to London in 6 weeks time.
