Great first visit. We had our dog with us, the staff looked after him so well and the hotel accommodates dogs the same way it does its guests. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back again. We loved it!

The hotel is clean, tidy and staff are polite.. on check in nothing was explained (usual Info re Breakfast times etc), our bag was left in storage, not taken to the room; not a show stopper but annoying as it was stated this would happen and meant an additional trip to reception. All in all a nice hotel, comfortable bed, but not outstanding

Good location, nice room & decor, but didn't feel like a premium hotel so was overpriced for what it was. Complimentary minibar and snacks was good, but note there is no alcoholic drinks. Shower was scolding hot even on minimum temp - to the point where it was a safety issue. Was told on enquiry that it was a Thames Water issue. I felt that they should've issued a safety warning to all rooms. Someone had vomitted in one of the lifts. We had trouble calling the second lift. Took a good 10-15 mins to finally get upstairs. Cleaning staff were alerted but it seemed to take a long time to address the issue. Would choose to stay elsewhere next time.

I stay in London most weeks and this is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The service was appalling, pretentious even. Couldn’t get served when I had a business client with me at the bar ( the bar was virtually empty), but when we stood up to leave, the waitress sped over with the bill. My client looked at me in disbelief. My room booking (for £455 a night) included breakfast. But I was challenged at reception and the concierge had to ring a manager, who asked for him to take a photo of my phone with the booking confirmation to PROVE that breakfast was included. Then he proceeded to tell me they’re having a lot of problems like this with Expedia bookings! Then why challenge me as if I’m lying? Honestly, the worst service I have ever had in any hotel, never mind a supposed luxury one. PS it wasn’t the concierge fault…he was merely doing what his manageress was instructing him over the phone. Terrible!
