I'll stay here again if I need a room, this end of London. It wasn't the Ritz. And it didn't COST what the Ritz would have. It is a thoroughly modern operation in a very old building. Yes the stairs are narrow, steep... BUT... Room clean. Lovely high ceilings. Room NOT over pub. Excellent sound proofing. LOVELY friendly, competent staff. Excellent cooked breakfast part of cost of room.

Nice staff, very cool building. Impressed that you couldn’t hear ANY noise from the pub below! Really lovely room, but the heating system was so noisy that we had a tough time staying asleep for long. Earplugs might help that.

The hotel is conveniently located across from Waterloo tube station. A fab location for dropping off bags after a long journey.

L'hotel é innuna zina comodissima, di fronte a Waterloo station da dove puoi arrivare ovunque. Ottimo il pub sotto l'hotel. Dalla nostra camera, la n. 18, non si sentiva alcun rumore, contrariamente a quanto segnalato da altri ospiti. La camera non era grande, anzi piuttisto piccola ma perfettamente organizzata. Ottima la colazione, sia english che continental (a parte il caffè!). Le camere potrebbero essere un pò più pulite, ecco perchè 4 stelle.
