Awesome hotel close to universal

This hotel had everything we were looking for. We are passholders to universal but find it cheaper to stay off site at a hotel within 2 miles from the parks. Pros: The hotel was recently renovated and everything looked new. The beds and pillows were very comfy. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room and I was super excited about the extra sink OUTSIDE the bathroom! If staying with kids you will understand how much time that saves having an extra sink, especially when someone is using the bathroom. The breakfast was very good and was different every morning. They had a wide variety of hot and cold foods and stayed stocked all morning. The staff were so very friendly. They were all so sweet and we felt welcomed and at home. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet. We were in the thick of spring break so the hotel was packed but didn’t hear hardly anything. The elevators were fast. Cons: The only thing I found was when I was packing our things to leave I noticed the side of our AC had what looked like black mold on the entire side of it. Overall we will definitely stay here again!

The staff here was really nice and friendly. I was met by Earl who checked us in at the front desk and he was so attentive and accommodating. I thought I booked a room with a sofa bed, but I didn’t and when I went to inquire about it he was accommodating in offering us a roll away bed. I would stay here anytime I’m in Orlando.

The place is very clean and staff is very attentive. Room service doesn't come by every day so if you leave a mess one day, expect to come back to it that same night. It is very close to a couple of dining places and 10 minutes away from Universal Studios. Parking is a little bit of a hassle if you get there late. You might have to end up parking a little bit away from the hotel and walk to it if it is sold out. All in all, very good hotel experience, would go again and would recommend.

I am writing to express my disappointment and humiliation following my recent stay at the Hampton Inn near Universal Blvd this past weekend. Unfortunately, my experience was far below the standard I have come to expect from Hilton properties. During my stay, I encountered a significant issue with the toilet in my room, which overflowed and would not flush. When I approached the front desk to address the situation, I was shocked to be told by the two young ladies on duty to plunge the toilet myself. This response made me feel as if I were a janitor rather than a guest in a hotel. I then requested a different room, only to be further instructed to use the lobby restroom. Upon attempting to use the lobby bathroom, I was appalled to find it in a filthy condition, with waste and toilet paper scattered everywhere. This was particularly disheartening
