The staff was great during every interaction. They really tend to the details at this resort. Someone is always cleaning, painting or manicuring the grounds to make it beautiful. Food was great every day. The location is great and close to the airport. Fun activities.

This hotel could use a little extra love. It felt a bit understaffed. The bathroom was humid and the room smell of humidity overall. I’d bring my own bath towel if planning on staying here. As I entered my room one evening I was greeted by a roach. It’s safe to say it was not the only one I saw. The staff was sweet. The Italian restaurant was great and the steak house was good as well. The buffet had a good variety of options. This hotel does not offer room service. I feel I overpaid. I’ve stayed at another RIU before and I was expecting the same experience this time and that was not the case.

The rooms were clean the food was “just okay” the steak restaurant was horrible. The beach was fantastic and the shows were not worth it but the weather was great and the room was clean!

Clean room, great staff. Restaurants were good except the Asian.(we tried it 2x to make sure) There were no bicycles even though it was a listed amenity. Games room should be separate from the sports bar and have pinball and/or video games for the younger crowd. The pool table & foosball was coin operated so a real irritant for an all inclusive. No separate adult pool. Foam party at the activity pool was great for all ages. Pool umbrellas did not provide shade-they were very translucent. Great place but not for us.

Comfortable clean room, updated appealing bathroom, good location with partial pool view, lots of food options, good food especially in the Buffet, extensive drink and bar options. Amazing staff in the Buffet...thank you! "No reservation" system for specialty restaurants not working. Difficult to access restaurants. Enjoyed our stay!

Rooms were very clean. Staff was great…friendly and courteous. Food was okay. For the price point I would expect the ala cartes to have higher end food than the buffet. The ala cartes were also very noisy and seemed like cafeterias as well. The beach was amazing…great sand all the way out in the waves!

We had a great time. Our first time staying at a Riu property and we left impressed. The staff is very friendly, beautiful beach area in front, and great value for what we paid. I would definitely recommend to other travellers.

Food. Restaurants and entertainment. Restaurants were told no reservations. However you did not put your bar on the list at 6pm they would sell out for the night. We ended up not having dinner one night because of it and then leaving the resort for future meals. There was little to fun entertainment.

The room and resort would have been good but the terrible construction and drilling in the wall all day for 3 days in a row was terrible. The worst part was how unwilling the staff was when asked if they can take a half hour brake as I was getting a heache from the loud noise so that I can leave the room, but was told that they are scheduled to work until 6pm and there is nothing they can do about it. I was not notified ahead of time of the noises and i did not feel safe during my stay. Would NOT recommend. The fact that they have no standards in place to help or protect the guests from such terrible environment means they don't care for their guests.

Staff were friendly. Food was good and everything was clean. Entertainment-wise was okay. More interactive would have been fun. And it's hard to feed the stray cats when you're not allowed on the grass.

Room good, lots of hot water!! Lots of people!! Staff for the most part excellent and friendly, only one rude matre’d at the Italian restaurant who chewed us out when their beeper failed to work! He tainted the place as far as my husband was concerned! Buffet Food was not to our liking, meat and fish always overcooked or bland!! Steakhouse ribeye good flavor, hotdogs and hamburgers at PePe’s was the best, which says a lot!!! Beach beautiful but unfortunately purple flag for dangerous wildlife (jellyfish and crocodiles) was up 6 of the 7 days we were there, so missed out on ocean swimming!! Music at pool bar great the day we arrived, then all the rest were the same boom boom repeat crap! Asked them to change and they wouldn’t/couldnt! Met many folks who return regularly here but we will not be one of them! Overall had a okay/good time! Met many wonderful people! Weather was great and that’s what we came for!!
