Chose this property for the great location in Little Italy. Very nice walkable neighborhood. Hotel is older but nicely renovated. Friendly helpful staff. Good price and location for San Diego stay!

The water smelled like sewage, the curtains don’t close and so the lights from outdoor shined bright through all night long, the front door to the room closed loosely and therefor shook with every movement in the hallway and neighbours from beside and upstairs, the door was also crooked so light and noise came through loudly, even when I noise machine was going.

Going back to our home away from home

We stayed with getting in late from a flight and asked on morning for a late checkout which they gave us. So we ate breakfast and took a dip on the pool before leaving. We love this hotel we have been coming for 8 years ever since our daughter stayed going to SDSU. They make it feel like home.

Average hotel for a good price

Location was good, walking distance to lots of restaurants. Check in was easy. Property itself was a mix of nice spaces (hallway and lobby) and underwhelming spaces (elevator area and room itself). Room was pretty average- small but fine for the price, pretty dark inside and not sound proof but again, it was a cheap hotel. Had a nice size mini fridge and microwave. The sink faucet was loose from the wall which made using it tricky but no other complaints.

Great location, facilities. Just didn't like that there was no desk or table - so couldn't eat food in room without standing/ sit down and work. I also visited for 3 days and was a little disappointed that I was given a "side" room with nothing to see. If you're gonna spend some time in the room, then perhaps there are better options.

Not fancy by any stretch of the imagination. Rundown, with zero frills. That said the location is great, right in the mix of Little Italy, and the beds are pretty comfy. The shower curtain didn’t even reach the floor so lots of water splattered out onto the floor. Eh.

The property is in a excellent location. The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom, in the bedroom. The TV did not function. No maintenance at night to service. OK place to put your head down, but that's about it. Price is fair.
