We loved the property , it was always clean . Staff were very friendly and nice. Buffet was ok they can do a better job keeping food fresh. Dinning restaurants were great. They had great alcohol options .

Horrible logistics and staff! You should be prepared to be surrounded by 700 people hotel guests! You will have to walk from one place to another miles! In a day you will have walked 10 miles! Very huge and ill-conceived and uncomfortable design of the hotel! For a week of staying in this hotel you will never have a place near the pool, unless you smarten up your room before 8 am! And most importantly.. a terrible beach with seaweed and holes and stones on the bottom! Also having a holiday on the uncle, where you hardly lie down by the ocean, because of the waves, chambers on the bottom and constant wind, you also will not get any .. absolutely no service! .... you have to go to the bar yourself all the time for drinks !! no one else will bring you drinks! Well, the buffet is the same every day! You can try different food only in one of the 4 restaurants! It's terrible.. For 700 hotel residents there are only 4 restaurants! You need to book a table! And this is a big problem! To make a hotel reservation you have to stand in a long line! This hotel has a huge territory and many useless rooms! This was our experimental visit to this hotel!! We do not advise anyone to visit this hotel! The only plus of this hotel: a huge bed in a room of Mega super giant size!!!

I loved the resort and it would’ve been perfect but I didn’t know before I went that they had the smallest dolphin enclosure in South America. It is so tiny that a dolphin died during a show because it fell outside the tank on the ground last year. Every time I walked by the tiny pool they put them in it made me so sad.

I’ve stayed at all six now this property has pros and cons for sure. Let’s start with the pros. It’s the newest Barcelo, property resort there, roughly 5 years old. The grounds are excellent well cap the beach is spectacular. The Infiniti pools are massive. The food quality we found superb and the à la carts were great. even at full capacity 850 rooms resort never feels crowded. we are frequent. Travellers were a group of seven, and I had asked for the three separate rooms that we had booked to be together and one of them was three floors away from us. Overall, I don’t have much to complain about it was a good experience. The downfall would be you need to be in shape which we are, but there’s a lot of walking, especially if you’re down in the one wing that’s a long ways from the main lobby, restaurants, bar, and entertainment at night. Aesthetically it’s built for large volumes of people which is fine, but I would like to see maybe some greenery as plants or something inside maybe even some type of courtyard or fish tanks or something to give it a more Homie feel it does give you that big warehouse Costco feeling. now let’s talk value for the money for what we paid. It was good value. I’ll leave it at that.

Everything was amazing. Literally paradise. Only complaint would be that the rooms are hot and muggy. The lowest temperature that the thermostat would let you put it was 21.5 c. I called the front desk to see if they could override it and they said no. It was so humid in the room the bed felt damp the entire time. They need dehumidifiers or something. Other than that everything was perfect. That small issue wouldn’t keep me from going back.
