Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam

"The location was great! We had a full view of the train station and canal boats. Our room wasn't ready but they stowed our bags so we could go explore the city right away. When we got to our room it was a very nice size with chairs, tables, plenty of storage space and nice size bathroom. In the morning, the breakfast buffet included made to order eggs on top of a wide assortment of breakfast items. The bar was relaxing to hang out in at night and have a drink. Servers were really very pleasant and took care of you.
The weird thing was having to take 2 elevators to get to your room. The rooms were in an adjacent building to the lobby. So you took one elevator up 2 flights, walked to the adjacent building and then took the elevator to your room. In a way it kinda made me feel safer since it would be difficult for a non guest to get to the rooms.
We stayed for 3 days and covered a LOT. Being so close to central station always provided many transportation options to get around Amsterdam if we didn't want to walk. "
