We booked a room as we were flying from Glasgow early and it’s close, first impression of outside wasn’t great but inside it’s beautiful with a huge bed and extremely comfortable, the staff were also very friendly and helpful
The stay was good and the hotel was nice but there was 4 coach loads of younger people there and they were running up and down corridors at two and three in the morning and with marble tiled floors they were very loud.
This is a charming hotel with great facilities. It is my third time to stay here and I’ll be back in three months. The pool/spa should be re-opening soon.
Rooms are well appointed and the bed was comfortable.
I think the hotel is terribly under utilised and they could do with marketing.
The room was clean and great value for money however it lacked a hairdryer! The staff were very professional and friendly Sam and Lorrie, shame the spa wasn’t open so we will return later in the year, Would recommend to family and friends
Room was clean and obviously recently decorated. There was a message prior to stay to inform us of ongoing works due to renovations but this was no bother.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
Only downside was internet was not great, TV wasn’t tuned and rooms were quite warm.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
No staff at check out time. Had to go in the kitchen and found the chef to take the keys! Little or no hot water including radiators. But the food was great and the bar was pleasant, although cold
During our stay in Glasgow, this hotel was fantastic. The staff was exceptionally nice and everyone was willing to help us with anything that we needed. We would most definitely stay when visiting Glasgow again.
Hotel is being renovated (poorly) while opened.
Bar was cold (both temperature and atmosphere. It is not a comfortable place. It’s also based on Indian culture and not Scottish. I am in Scotland. Not India.
Room was really good, receptionist extremely helpful when we arrived. Only downside is quite a few vulnerable peole and council tenants are placed there.
Hotel inside was very nice. Nice furniture in the reception and bar. Room was nice and everything seemed clean. Outside the hotel looks horrendous. It’s on as a spa hotel but the spa and pool were closed and the games room doesn’t seem to exist.
We were rudely wakened at 6.30 with people in the corridor, banging doors and dragging cases, and moving about rooms.
We went for breakfast and it was full of foreigners, there wasn’t a clean table for us to sit at and had to stand with our plates waiting until one was cleaned.
There was four coaches in the car park taking all these people away after they had been for breakfast.
This was not the overnight we expected!!!
We left the hotel on the night we stayed and went into Erskine where we found a great wee pub that did lovely food, drinks were reasonable as well.
This is a beautiful hotel that’s been totally ruined which is a shame
We only stayed for a night, and the Rooms were very big and neat & clean. We had the breakfast there, which was great and very inexpensive when included with the room
