Room is great for the price I payed. Don’t expect much I only pay $30 at night and it’s on downtown prime location. Down side to much noise on the street at night. Hotel great I would again :)

For the price, this place was great. An amazing location & clean bed. I had no issues with noise and the shared bathroom wasn't as inconvenient as I thought it would be as you still have a private sink and shower. There are no vents so all the steam from the shower condensed against the window and made water droplets.

161 Norte sits in a fantastic part of Lisbon, and for a quick pre-flight stopover, it gets the job done. The price and location are genuinely hard to argue with for budget travelers passing through. That said, there are a few things worth knowing before you book. There's no front desk staff after 7pm — something I only discovered after arriving late and having to haul my luggage several blocks on my own. It also created an awkward situation on my way out when another guest was waiting outside hoping to check in with no one around to help them. The rooms are small, the bathrooms are shared, and cleanliness left something to be desired. For an overnight pit stop it's manageable, but I wouldn't want to stay longer than a night or two. Bottom line: if you're just passing through, need a budget option, and don't mind a no-frills setup, it works. Just go in with the right expectations.

Room was what I expected for the low price. Very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the air conditioning unit was broken so it was a bit stuffy in the room. The front desk gave me a fan which helped a lot. I would stay here again if I were to return to Lisbon.

Good location in Chiado area, close to all Services. Not particularly bad, ok to spend a couple of nights. Bed is comfortable, clean sheets and towels. Old building with bad insulation but the noise from the street and other rooms was ok after midnight until 8a.m. Bathroom is basic but good enough to feel comfortable (Room with prívate one)

Place was ok. Nothing spectacular, but i didn't expect much for what I paid. It was clean enough. The decor was odd. The light fixtures had pictures of some dude on there. The cleaning lady was super nice. I would recommend if you want a bare bones place thats clean, close to everything, and cheap.

It’s a good value for the price - when you book in advance. Basic furniture, no air conditioner or fan - luckily it’s not too hot. Having the shower in the bedroom is a plus. Sharing the bathroom wasn’t too bad. The building is old, and the elevator not always work.

Very friendly hotel in great location.

Hotel is great location, staff were very knowledgeable on area and how to spend my days. Had vending machines to enable to get snacks and coffee. Hotel is a little tired but its location and great staff more than makes up for this.
