Fantastic stay, only let down by the fact that the main room window could not be completely closed. This lead to a night of constant street noise and a overly cold draft. Upon checking out, I mentioned this to the lady on reception who replied it happened quite regularly. No apology or offer of a partial refund or anything. Enough to stop me booking with this chain again.

Clean and comfortable room with convenient location next to train station and all the Liverpool night life. Very good breakfast with lots of variety. Bath/shower a bit cramped, but otherwise perfect.

Check in was very poor and slow. queued for 20 minutes with only one other person in front of us. When it came to checking in, I was told a £1 holding charge would be placed on my card, so I tapped my card on the machine and it actually placed over £60 on hold on my card. The staff member had charged me twice for the room despite it being paid for in advance. The charge has now sat pending on my account for the last 3 weeks. I have had to contact my bank to try and resolve. The check in process was slow and when we did head up to the room, we got there to find the key wasn’t working, so had to go back down and queue again to get the key card redone. We ended up being late to the event we were going to because of how slow the process was! The rooms are dated but fine for a cheap one night stay. Unfortunately the check in process and having to mess around getting charged removed from my account make the whole experience inconvenient.

Firstly finding the place is a nightmare if going by car. Very convenient if by train however Liverpool city centre is a nightmare to negotiate by car. Secondly the hotel is very tired and aged. Also the car park although attached, doesn't belong to the hotel, it's a Q-Park if trying to locate it. Staff were polite and helpful during our stay.

Room is good and spacious for our needs. Staff are pleasant and helpful. The AC was not good at all. There was no refrigerator in the room and when requested one, we were offered to keep our items at the refrigerator by the front desk!!!

Comfortable room in a good location just 2 minutes walk from Lime Street station. Staff were helpful but i was attending a conference and left my room at 8.30 am and returned at 4.30pm to find my room had not been serviced. I was told by reception that housekeeping work up until 6pm. Given that this is a city centre hotel with lots of business clients returning to rooms after work etc and that check in is 3pm onwards I feel that it was not up to standard to find my room unserviced.
