We were moved from the Thistle Marble Arch the day before we were supposed to check in and we had to stay at the Clermont Victoria. I contacted the Thistle to ask why we had been moved and asked if they could honour the fact that we had booked an executive room and pass that information onto the new hotel. The staff member at the Thistle was extremely rude and said it is no longer a booking at their hotel and I would need to speak to the Clermont who is a member of the same hotel group. The Clermont were also very rude over the.phone and I was promised a free afenoon tea which when we checked in there was no record of. We were told we had been given a free mini.bar (which was standard in the room and also what we would.have.had in the Thistle), and we were given a drinks token as a gesture of goodwill which we found out later was also supposed a part of the room as well. We were consistently lied to and felt very unwelcome, not what you.would expect from a 4 star hotel and paying for a higher level of room. .

- Our room was located 250 meters from the elevators! - We reserved one room with two separate beds, but did not get it. - Lunch was not available at the restaurant. - When restaurant's toilet was not in use, receptionist advised to use the toilet of the hotel next door. - The hotel portier ordered us a taxi for next morning. The taxi only accepted cash, we were not able to pay with card. All these things considered our stay was not very pleasant.

the location is great, the staff very nice, the room was a good size and equipped with the necessary, except that the tv didnt really work properly.

Top Hotel an zentraler Lage -Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal-!- -Toller Concierge Service -Top Lage für alle Sehenswürdigkeiten -Sehr bequeme Betten Das Thistle Marble Arch ist wircklich sehr zu empfehlen. Es ist top gelegen und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in der Nähe. Für Familien mit Kindern toll. Madame Tussaud ist zu Fuss erreichbar, Christophers Place eignet sich super um sich zu verkostigen und gleich an der Oxfordstreet, vis a vis vom Primarkt gelegen, kann man shoppen ohne Ende. Wenn ich London wieder Besuche wird dieses Hotel meine 1. Wahl.
