The room was very clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar area is very nice and relaxing. I like how the neighbourhood is quiet and still quirky and walkable to many attractions. The only 2 things I can suggest is a better signage for the luggage room and someone to give a quick sweep and mop in the lifts overnight as people go to their rooms with take away spilling drinks and food.

Love this hotel!

We loved our second stay at Marlin - this time around we even explored more of the SouthBank and loved the local neighbourhood (Hercules' fish&chips and sticky toffee pudding omg). We found it safe, accessible to the Tube and LHR, we walked SO many neighbourhoods in London from there - we just loved it in its entirety and found the price 'affordable' for a city like London. We are already planning a return!

Great hotel and short walking distance to Waterloo

A lovely hotel located a short walk from Waterloo station. The view from our hotel room was amazing both at night and the morning of what is now a stunning high rise skyline of Vauxhall with the train tracks in front of. With the windows closed you wouldn't know that there were trains that close (we were 10th floor). The staff were helpful, the room clean and modern and the reception area the same.

We stayed here one night at Christmas time and it was lovely all the staff we encountered were friendly and nice, they had a bar with nice drinks and food options, the hotel has a tube station on the same road and there is restaurants and pubs walkable distance it’s also walkable from Waterloo station. The hotel had lovely views of the city and we left our bags here before and after our stay with no issues

They have no parking, we parked our three blocks away and paid £40. We booked two rooms with king beds, but the beds were double bed with uncomfortable Mattress while we have been charged for king beds.
