The room was nice, clean and larger than I had expected with a little kitchenette area. The staff was very nice and helpful. Easily walkable to both the Lambeth North Station and the Waterloo Station. A few tips for first time travelers to this hotel. You have to put your key card into a slot near the door to turn on the lights and control the heat/AC. If you take the key card out when you reinsert it you have to reset the heat/AC. You also have to scan your keycard when you get in the elevator to get it to work when going up. The person who checked us in did explain this, but I was so exhausted from the long flight I didn’t remember a word she said. When I was freezing cold I found the instruction sheet inside the room on how to set the heat. The area felt very safe during the day. We did not go out in the evenings so I don’t have an opinion for after dark hours. The walk to the Waterloo Station was close but if you have an abundance of luggage you might want to consider taking a taxi. It was a little difficult pushing and pulling our luggage on the uneven surfaces. We walked from the station to the hotel but opted for a taxi for the return trip.
