A very disappointing stay! Would not recommend! I spent extra money and booked two “Luxury Double Rooms” to be given one and one of the “Double Room (Four Poster)” rooms, which was cheaper to book. I’d specifically spent more to not get one of these rooms as wanted a nicer room. I asked the staff why we had been downgraded and were lied to and fobbed off by them saying they’d actually upgraded us. I pointed out that both on eBookers and the hotels own website that the room we were given was cheaper, smaller and less “luxury” than the one we’d booked and therefore was a downgrade as they sold us an expensive room but gave us a worse, cheaper one. They then said there is no way to price the rooms at the same price and you basically just book any room and they are just allocated as available. Total lies and appalling customer service with a rude and a ‘couldn’t care less’ attitude from the manager! The room itself wasn’t good, dirty and with a filthy shower room and the ricketiest and squeakiest bed I’ve ever slept in. Every time you moved you felt it was about to collapse and the noise would wake you up. Generally a very tired hotel with appalling customer service and a manager who happily lies to and cheats customers! Never again!!

The apartment was on Warwick Road - one of the noisiest in London. Impossible to get a good nights sleep. The hotel should be more honest about the location of their rooms. I had to leave a night early as it was so noisy They know exactly what they are doing in making the location vague!

Good location, 4 star it is not.

Pros: location
Cons: interior decor and flooring in the room
Location: train station is easy to get to and a good selection of places to eat.
The entrance, breakfast lounge and the outside areas, which everyone will see is of the highest standard and the aroma is very pleasent! However, once up in the rooms, they ar enot of a 4 star standard, I would say a solid 3. Good clean bathroom, Very good comfy bed, breakfast a bit 'continental' for my liking. the upgrade for a full english was about 9 quid i think, which seemed a bit steep. It does an adequate job in a decent location.

nice and clean, comfortable and good value

Meter parking at end of road, restaurants and underground station around the corner. Get to breakfast before the rush in the last half hour or you may have to queue. Good value quaint hotel especially love the Oriental themes.

Das Hotel hat Charme und ist attraktiv eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, so dass das Hotel fast schon familiär erscheint. Leider waren die Zimmertresore meiner ganzen Gruppe defekt und wurden auch nicht repariert. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, mit Ausnahme des Staubwischens. Alles in allem werde ich wieder dort logieren, wenn ich in London bin.
