Great hotel in the heart of Kensington. Loved the access to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The fact that it’s close to Royal Albert Hall is also a really nice bonus. All in all, this is a great place to stay.

I was allocated a room inferior to the Expedia description, but the helpful receptionist "upgraded" me to what I paid for without too much hassle. Great view of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, esp at night. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Pretty good value.

We had a wonderful stay at Royal Garden Hotel. The staff was lovely. The room is clean and spacious. In-hotel dining options are great too. It is also right next to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace and also a short walk to an underground station. Very convenient. We would certainly come back here whenever we visit London!

No flexibility when my daughter was struck with serious illness despite providing good notice. In these circumstances you pay almost £300 for a room you don't use and the hotel re-sell. Not great particularly if you have shown loyalty over the decades. Loyalty clearly overrated at Royal Garden. Stay was ok but no complimentary benefits eg breakfast offered.
