Stayed for the 1 night and couldn't sleep at all due to noises from a radiator. A staff hasn't done anything but closed the its valve completely. Sorry, I won't visit there again.
I booked this this hotel, for business in London, the welcome was not that welcome, thourt there would be some were to get something to get food, no information given just you are in a room in the other building, the room wasn't the great, seemed to be blood drops on the floor, not that good.
Our stay at the St. George, while conveniently located and cheap was not great. The cleanliness of the room was terrible, the bathroom actively had mold on the ceiling while the carpet of the bedroom was stained and did not look clean. We also had about a day and a half of no hot water whatsoever in the room, which was admittedly fixed when we brought it up to the front desk.The only positive cleanliness point I have was the bed, which had brand new sheets on it as the sticker for the pack of sheets the hotel had ordered was left on.
AWFUL AND DIRTY hotel, the most terrible place/room i have stayed in. Mould on the pillows and on the sheets as well as the bathroom. Very BAD for health and safety. I have asthma and it’s bad for not just me but for anyone who sleeps where there is mould. Took pictures to show upon check out to the receptionist. Room was full of dust and not cleaned.
Stayed for one night for work purposes. The hotel was okay at best. Very dated, room up 4 flights of stairs. Very small single room. Pillow dover was dirty (luckily i bring my own), top of duvet smelt so i turned it upside down. The bed felt super old, no resistance in it at all and the pillow was very flat. Bathroom smelt of drains every time you opened the bathroom door. Was pleased to have a hot shower, though water takes a while to warm up. No TV remote, so I had to stand on the bed to press the buttons on the tv screen. Wondow rattled so had to wedge somwthing in it to stop ot making noise. The only things really going for this hotel was location and the fact that I was exhausted so I did sleep.
I booked 2 night there as US citizens it was my worst experience plus I had a 4 months baby, the check in could of tell it was terrible the reception area was dark , not even water bring can offer . They give you your key to go to other buildings there there is no LIFTS so you have to walked up 47stairs with your luggage’s , the room is was untidy especially the utensils the kettle had rust and molds in when I opened it to make my baby a bottle I almost fainted hot and very dark , no batteries in the remote, I had to get out and go back to the receptionist to show her the condition of the room because I took pictures. Please anyone do not go there if you’re looking for comfort and cleanness especially if you have young kids . It was very terrible. I had to book another hotel for the safety of me and my baby.
This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever booked. Arrived and had to pay before we saw the room, but were disgusted by mold and dirty sheets. We did not stay here, and immediately booked at another hotel. We were denied a refund by the rude staff. DO NOT stay here. We booked a room at The Georgian down the street and it was wonderful.
One of the dirtiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Pay the extra money and stay anywhere else. Our huge window did not lock and the staff would not move rooms. Wifi didn’t work, pillows and sheets stained with blood. Mold EVERYWHERE. Absolutely gross, decent location but nothing else going for it after that. Looks NOTHING like the photos.

Room was standard but warm. Just shower we did not use as the ceiling was black from old mould spots.
Tried to wait to see if anyone arrived when checking out but didnt, as wanted to tell them about the drip outside 201 window. Something is leaking and dripping constantly on a chair outside the window. As the windows are the old sash ones their is no noise protection, so heard it all night!
Room was vasic but had the necessities i needed. Room was spacous and had a large window. Room came with a fan and heater and some toiletries in the bathroom. Bed was confortable too.
There were a few things i didnt like. Extractor fan was very loud, windows not double glazed which allowed cold air to come through. Also curtains were blackout but daylight still came out the sides which woke me up. The kettle had water from previous guests which i found unhygenic. Finally the shower presssure and temperature wasnt great either. Warm water only - no hot. Overall an ok hotel. Expected better facilities for the price i paid though.
I did cal the hotell 15times, over several days to Get inn tuch. That no service! When i first get in touch, noe lady told me that de recption desk was close, and then hang on phone. just so small things that no working remote controll, lamp without lamp shade.. and wait for hot water for 20min.. the place need a uppgrade
