There was a fire alarm set off in the night around 3/4am. I was ready to leave the room when it stopped. It then happened repeatedly again and resulted in me having virtually no sleep. When I raised with the front desk on check out, they simply blamed someone and offered no gesture of goodwill or care.

On arrival we found the room was too small for 2 people, there was no hot water in the very small bathroom and a plumber had to be sent for. A light bulb not working in the shower. and the shower tray was thick with mildew. Needing a drink in the room after a long journey there were two cups and only one saucer. One of the restaurants had a very limited menu and four of the choices were all the same vegetables regardless of if you choose fish or chicken. On the last day the breakfast room was very crowded, there were lots of very dirty tables and we had to clear dirty pots ourselves. Then found there was no clean dishes available, coffee mugs or drinking glasses. We had ask for cutlery and we very disappointed with the lack of service.
Couldn't fault our stay, we stayed a week and the staff couldnt be more helpful, whatever we requested they accommodated us. We stayed on the 3rd floor at the rear of the building which was the quieter part of the hotel which is what we requested. We couldn't hear any of the renovation works and the suite was clean and tidy
Our stay was very nice. Rooms were a bit on the small side, but that was fine for us. We picked it because it was close to the British Museum, near a bus stop and tube station.

Friendly staff .The room was clean and perfect for what we needed.As I have mobility issues I asked for a roo. Near a lift and lower floor.I was given exactly what I requested. IZn hindisght it possibly was t the best location we were woken several times during the night by the bell and doors slamming .The front drsk did say we shluld have called down and request a new room but it would have been a upheval.They did however allow me to have a late check out so I did catch up.Just thought it might hel someone if they req the same

The bus stop just outside was convenient for getting around town but noisy at night as folks gathered for the next bus. Location convenient to West End plays. The VQ restaurant was lovely.

Location is excellent for the hotel and the rooms and communal areas are clean and tidy. It is perfect for a few nights stay in central London, where you basically get what you pay for. I would happily stay jere again.
Clean room, comfy beds and pillows. Staff always very polite and helpful. Competitive price. Good food. Excellent location. It doesn’t look much from the outside but it really is a wonderful hotel once you step inside.
Hotel was a less than 5 minute walk to the underground the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and more than adequate. Lastly we tried 2 out of the 3 restaurants on-site (cucina and the 24 hr cafe) and I highly recommend them, good food and great customer service I would definitely stay again in the future or even if I'm not staying at the hotel I would still eat at their restaurants.
