Great location, staff very friendly & efficient as always. Room was clean, well equipped, relatively quiet. Lifts are now quiet, fast & regular. Best hotel in central London.
Room was a great deal on Expedia - spacious and tidy. Staff were pleasant and bag storage is helpful.
The only issue was the noise. Very busy corridor and we were in a room directly next to an extremely noisy lift. Creaking, clunking and wining constantly. This noise started at around 3am when people were coming back from late nights and carried on as people began to leave. Impossible to sleep through this and when giving keys back I told the desk. Apologetic but said if I had let them know they could have resolved. Not sure if moving room at 3am would have really saved the stay as the damage is already done with disruption.
Shame as I struggle to see how this hasn’t been raised before l, there’s no way to have had a good nights sleep in our room and everything else is great value for money at the price I paid so a real let down.
Would stay again only if I could guarantee a quieter spot in the hotel.
Cramped, overpriced and under construction the entire time, noisy almost every morning. Very little value for what you pay but you are clearly paying for the location, which was excellent. Left a day early.
Only a short stay at St Giles , but every aspect was excellent !
Particularly the concierge who looked after our luggage, offered advice and was generally a kind and very helpful person - thankyou.
The location is excellent. The rooms were comfortable. The only issue was that (I was in room 479 ) this room had a bath with overhead shower, getting in and out of the bath to have a shower was very difficult, almost dangerous, as it was a very high climb to get in and out of the bath. There was a rubber bath suction mat to put in the bath but as the height to getc
in and out was so big, it was very difficult, especially getting out when wet. A small step would be a possible solution. Otherwise a very good 3 night stay.

Lo mejor del hotel es la UBICACIÓN muy sencillo para llegar caminando a casi todos los sitios turísticos.
La habitación sencilla pero limpia y el baño muy cómodo.
El desayuno rico y abundante.
Pretty terrible, unclean and needs an update. The walls were unclean, bathroom was ancient, the pressure in the sink was nonexistent, shower hewd fell down every time. Could hear EVERYTHING that was happening outside the room, no sound proofing at all. Paid way too much for a bad room.
The room smelt of the toilet which was a very loud pump toilet , the window blinds didn't all work , the aircon was really loud and very loud sound of trains
