Not the cheapest place to stay but it’s a beautiful hotel, with a great history restored (and improved upon) its former glory. Service is great, rooms are spacious and location is excellent. What’s not to like. Rather strange that a member of staff challenged a friend of mine who knocked on my door in quite an officious manner, but you can’t get everything right.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Beautiful, historic property, but my premium king was essentially an interior room facing the train station giving no natural light or privacy, and the mattress was the firmest I've ever encountered anywhere in my life.

Excellent hotel, room was great, service was amazing, everyone is so accommodating and friendly. I had a great stay. The fact that it is literally right at the train station made everything so easy. It also has access to the underground which was very convenient as well. The restaurant was great and so were the ones in the complex. I totally recommend this hotel and will absolutely stay there again when visiting London.

It's like stepping into another time, which was perfect as we were in London to enjoy a 1930s Jazz night at 58th Street. Everyone was so helpful and had tume for us.
