The restaurant outlets were fantastic In guv'nors suite only slight thought is the smaller bedroom can hear quite a bit of street noise perhaps an upgraded triple pane window wd work Bedding and mattresses were divine!! NEVER get rid of those slippers. We have traveled every continent and never had slippers as comfortable as the red carnation i will.come back for the beds, slippers and lounge! Happy new year

Tasty breakfast items, fresh eggs delivered to your table cooked to your requirements. Room On the small side but beautifully decorated and all amenities required including bottled water. Absolutely wonderful with fantastic staff, comfortable and clean rooms ...did I mention the charming and professional staff? The tea was festive, the jazz nightly was great, and the food at every meal was just great especially breakfast. We can't tell you how much we enjoyed the hotel and its location near British museum and Russell square. Close to underground and just a delight. We will go back.

We loved the location adjacent to The British Museum, it was a lovely, quiet neighborhood just a short walk from all we wanted to see. The hotel and the room were impeccably decorated and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was spotless and appeared newly renovated. The staff was incredibly friendly and very helpful throughout our stay.

Everything! The moment you walk in the door you feel welcomed. Albi at the front door helping with my bag and making sure I had still water every day, India at the front desk who was so kind and checked me in and luckily was there when I checked out, Emily working in the restaurant who was so kind and sweet- these people make this hotel. Of course the fabulous comfortable bed and turn down service and cosy, well-appointed room don't hurt either. Loved the short bread and cookie upon arrival and the breakfast choices were yummy. I absolutely would recommend this hotel to anyone, anytime. You will not be disappointed!

The room was very comfortable and the delivery of cookies just after arrival very welcome. I would have given this hotel five stars except I found the additional £15 service charge for housekeeping (optional) and the calls to the room to check everything was ok and the turndown service slightly intrusive. If you like this style of high level service and are used to these additional charges I would highly recommend this comfortable, quiet hotel in an excellent location

The staff were so polite and attentive. Lunch upon arrival was a tapas selection and excellent as was the buffet breakfast. The junior suite was great with all the required amenities and extra touches like chocolates and biscuits in the room were an extra touch. We will most definitely be staying here again.

I didn’t have breakfast. I was in the bar once and we were ignored. Had to go to the bar to order. It was so slow they offered a discount, on the food only I presume. I didn’t pay the bill to verify. My room was clean. The turndown service put out both pairs of slippers even though I didn’t take them out of the package or use them and I was the only person in the room.
