Opted for a garden view room, arrived early and was offered a smaller windowed room on 8th floor but glad to be on 2nd floor. The concierge desk retained my luggage until I returned later when room was ready. There was an access ramp up 5 steps leading to a very narrow corridor to a lift lobby that would struggle with a motorised wheelchair if not a standard size, The room was clearly signed from the corridor and the key pass worked first time. The room was long and narrow, passing by the bathroom on the corridor with the bed to the right hand side as the room opened up the view over the terrace and garden was lovely and worthwhile. The mattress supportive, a good selection of pillows and a comfortable duvet to rest under. The TV pivoted and allowed us both to view the panel and was easy to adjust. The challenges though were many; - there was only a single club chair for a room occupancy of two recessed in the window bay - there were two fridges ( under the TV and in the wardrobe ) with complementary drinks but no milk to decant for any hot beverage - the bed was deep and pushed to the wall but left very little space to pass by - the bathroom had a shower that its door barely opened without brushing the toilet bowl and left no space to use the sink. The entrance door also obstructed the use of the sink - in the green parlour our breakfast order was never dispatched in time before the kitchen stopped serving - the eqqus bar took +40 mins to not make a second cocktail

Room was spacious, and comfortable. Shower had lots of pressure. Great location to access theatre and popular sites. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room could use some refreshing. Had an issue being charged for breakfasts that we didn’t have, but the staff reimbursed our card that was held on deposit. Would stay there again.
