The stay started badly when we had to wait for the only lift working and it only took two people before setting of the overweight alarm. Our room was on the 7th floor so we had to use the stairs several times. The bathroom was a disaster with difficulty getting the toilet to flush. We had to wait 15 minutes in the morning to get hot water. Initially there was no water, maybe someone else turned of the taps in their room allowing us to get water. The bed was very uncomfortable and badly made, the bottom sheet didn’t reach the bottom of the bed. The quilt was soiled. Breakfast was ok. Reception staff were friendly. Clearly not worth the money!

The Junior Suite was ‘tired’ in need of decoration. The shower overflowed due to being blocked and unable to flush the toilet at times. Although the room was clean the carpet was in need of a decent shampoo or even better replacing. Access to the property was restricted due to works being carried out directly outside the property, pavements all blocked off so had to walk on the road!! The only positive was the breakfast, a good range of choice. Not worth the expensive rate charged for this room and will not return!!

Junior suite lacked the expectations as per description of rooms. Location was central but would not stay again due to having to not having items that paid for within room being missing and having to request same if wanted them. Certainly not worth the price.

The location of the hotel is super convenient and close to everything you need to have a great time in London (theatres, museums, restaurants, tube stations). Large and clean rooms, great breakfast, no complaints from me. I stayed here last year too and will definitely book again in the future.

Completely blown away by this hotel and location. Staff was the best, room was so comfortable, quiet, beautifully decorated, bathroom was very clean and has all the necessities. Breakfast area downstairs was always immaculate, food was hot, well cooked, and pastries were soft and flaky. Piccadilly Circus was glorious. Easily walkable to Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, 10 or more major theaters to see plays, restaurants galore, shopping, it was basically London’s version of Time Square in New York. The subway trains were super easy to use and get around in and not even 3 to 5 minute walk from the front door. This was the perfect place to stay.

The room was good with comfortable bedding but the bathroom did have a smell (like sewage). I’m not sure if it was due to the area in general or just the age of the building but it was pretty strong. The location was great but it is very busy and can get pretty loud although it did not bother us all that much. Overall a good stay but would have been better without the smelly odor.

The staff is outstanding. They're friendly and attentive. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You can't beat the location. Don't be thrown by the masses of humanity around the hotel...the rooms are extremely quiet. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay.

Room was very comfortable, but there are a few items that must be addressed. Specifically, there was no towel rack/holder at the sink, where obviously you are washing your hands, face, etc. and a towel at hand is necessary. Also, there is no towel rack at the shower area. There is a towel warmer, but that is often being used for another towel. In the shower, the floor is a bit slippery and there is NO grab bar within the shower. They are easily affixed (I’ve done it) and would greatly improve safety in the shower. Thanks.

I stayed here for 4 nights. My room was spacious and clean. It had all the amenities I needed. It’s centrally located in Piccadilly Circus area and close to several underground stations plus popular tourist areas. It’s walkable to major tourist hubs. The staff were fine. I only had 2 issues- one is that I requested my room to not be cleaned one day yet it was. Second, the rebate they offer for not having a room cleaned is not clear and 3 different staff menbers gave me 3 different information. It was a little fristratinf and not worth the reward (which I never bothered to claim).

Room was not clean, housekeeping was very poor. The smell of industrial carpet cleaner was overwhelmning. A reported issue was not dealt with.
After our first night we reported an air vent in the bathroom that was on constantly. This was the hotel response. We removed it that evening as we were concerned about a fire risk due to veing beside the hot light. The vent was not repaired.
