Good hotel, excellent position

Pros: Convenience for tubes and buses. Good value for its position.
Location: Hyde Park,Buckingham palace, Piccadilly all 10 -15 minutes walk.
just three nights in London, but a very suitable place to stay. No unnecessary frills, just good value in a good and safe location

Convenient location

Pros: Luxury at an affordable price
Cons: Shaver point wasn't working in our room and this has happened on a previous stay. Only there one night so did not complain.
Location: Green Park; Buckingham Palace; Hyde Park
A good all round hotel in the West End close to Victoria Rail station 1 mile or 1 tube stop

Okay stay but wouldn't return

There was no information in the room about check out time or breakfast time. There was a card for room service breakfast which was served until 11AM everyday so I assumed this was the same for the buffet breakfast. My Mam and I went down at 10:30AM and were told breakfast had finished so we didn't end up having breakfast. I did later find out that breakfast wasn't included on my reservation so £165 for room only is a little steep considering the standard of the hotel. Mark, the Concierge, was amazing! He was so so helpful. He recommended restaurants, explained where everything was and how to get there. He couldn't of been any more helpful! If it wasn't for him, I'd score the hotel a 1 or 2. There's no proper lock on the hotel room door; only a chain. There's no air con in the corridors or lobby. Our mini bar had the usual water, alcohol and pringles. When I went to open the pringles, they had been eaten and someone had put the empty pot back in the fridge! The room had Sky which was good and also a mobile/gadget which we could use free of charge for phone calls, internet and travel guides. The hotel is in a great location as it's near everything we needed and wanted but I wouldn't stay here again.
