AC not cooling, minimum service in shuttles

AC was too low and it was hot in the room even when setting it at its maximum option. The thermostat did not allow to set the desired temperature. There was no body wash and conditioner in the shower, just a one liquid for all, which is quite poor offering. This hotel used to provide guests with a convenient toothbrush, but now there is not even a mini soap. Also, there was only one shuttle to the airport per hour. By the time I tried to get a spot for the next morning, the busses for two hours (8 and 9) were already full. In August, there should be more frequent shuttles. The checking in and out was excellent.

The rooms are dark and quiet to allow for Travellers to rest during the day hours . The staff were helpful . The shuttle bus left early and stranded me only to have to wait for a taxi which left me late to check with the consequence it cost me 300 Euro to change my flight . Better advised to rely on taxis than the hotel shuttle

Not enough shuttles to the airport

Nice and clean hotel. However, the shuttle to the airport should improve. They need to offer one every 30 minutes instead of one every hour. We could not use it because it was sold out for the most popular schedule. The pool closes too early and the restaurant is overpriced.

Great Hotel for Concert

We booked to stay at the Nuevo Boston for a concert at the Riyadh Air Metropolitana. Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff incredibly friendly and attentive . Pool was lovely in the 37 degree heat, and the lifeguard couldn’t do enough to help during our day, phoning the bar whenever we wanted drinks. Slight issue with the number of wasps around the showers but I guess the hotel can’t be responsible for them . Breakfast was filling and worth the 16 euros for the full buffet. Lunchtime food was delicious too and reasonably priced. We did find the restaurant soulless and a little too sterile in terms of atmosphere as you could hear a pin drop , but for the day we spent there it wasn’t a problem . Large shopping mall ideally located a 10 minute walk away with a good selection of eateries and shops. For us, the concert at Athletico Madrids stadium was the purpose of our visit so the hotel was perfectly located for that with a 12 euro taxi ride there with uber and a walk back afterwards along with 70,000 other people . We walked back in just over an hour. The only really negative comment we could make was the awful smell coming from the drains around the Bimbo bread factory just along the road. To be fair it wasn’t a problem in the hotel but as soon as you walked 100m up the road the smell was really unpleasant. Again, not a hotel issue but an unpleasant experience when walking around the immediate vicinity. Finally , free airport shuttle bus worked seamlessly both ways.
