Check-in was we’re not very smooth. They charged me $122 for late check-in which I had already informed them that I was going to be late When I checked out 9 AM the next day they sent me an email for $122 due. I left the hotel but I had to come back to the hotel to talk to the manager to get that waived off.

Great stay at the Westgate! Comfortable, quiet rest after full days at the Universal and Disney. Staffs were helpful and the cafe was a nice touch for the morning coffee. Highly recommended for family stay.

The facility was clean inside and out. Easy access to ride share. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was well stocked so we could make our meals easily. Beds were comfortable, Free shuttle to Universal. Grocery store nearby. Great view from our 17th floor room. We will stay there again next time we're in Orlando.

Everything was great at this hotel, except one major issue: there was no functioning internet. In theory, the hotel offers Wi-Fi, but in reality, it simply didn’t work. We were originally placed on the 9th floor, and when we reported the issue, hotel management moved us to the 8th floor where their internet vendor claimed a router was located. Unfortunately, that didn’t help, there was still no internet access on that floor either. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. The location is perfect - very close to Universal Studios and many restaurants. The hotel looks newly renovated, it’s clean, and the pool water was warm and pleasant. However, the restaurant on-site only operates until 3 p.m., which isn’t very convenient. We rented a two-bedroom condo that had large smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, but oddly, the TVs didn’t function as smart TVs. When we asked about it, hotel staff explained that the hotel doesn’t have the proper license for smart TV features. If reliable internet is important to you, keep this in mind. Otherwise, it’s a solid place to stay.

★★★★★ Outstanding Stay – Highly Recommended! My stay at this hotel was absolutely spectacular. The hotel is extremely comfortable, well-maintained, and perfectly located. Everything is close by, with many great dining options within walking distance, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Transportation to the theme parks is very convenient, with shuttles running constantly, making it easy and stress-free to get around. The staff truly deserves five stars. Everyone was professional, friendly, and attentive—from the front desk team to the housekeeping staff. I would especially like to mention a very kind Venezuelan lady with gray hair who takes care of the lobby restrooms. Unfortunately, I don’t remember her name, but she was always incredibly attentive and kept the bathrooms spotless at all times. Her dedication and warmth truly stood out. Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a great location.
